Honestly my fav batmobile of all time was 1990 Kenner Batman Returns Batmobile which was the most accurate representation of the movie batmobile. I also favored the Kenner 1990 turbojet batwing over the toybiz batwing. The runner up batmobile would have to be 1992 Kenner Bat missile Batmobile. The plastic Cocoon is also a must have for any collection.
Yeah my fav will always be the 1990 batmobile. My favorite vehicles are the ones by kenner for the Dark Knight Collection. Like you said that turbojet batwing is fire.
31:22 the difference is that when he killed them back then in that movie people as a general audience weren't as aware of that no kill rule so it wasn't a big deal but nowadays it's a much bigger deal because of the fact that people are aware of that rule
Ohh of course! As a kid it didn't ever make me think Batman was a bad guy. criminals died while committing their crimes so I never questioned it. Even now I don't! I just hear a lot more people talk about it when he does blow somebody away with the batmobile or something 😂
@@TheCaveofWonders7 yeah, to be fair it is a lot worse now because he straight up just going out of his way to kill people where back then it was just he let them die for the most part. But then again you also have to keep in mind that when the dceu Batman was killing people it was after years of him having lost his way

Awesome review brother. I was born in 91 so I missed out on these. My first batman toys were the animated series ones. Loved them toys alot as a kid. Can't wait for you to review them.
You still having the boxes is a big surprise. I’ve got the same Batman and Robin figures. I had the batmobile but it was stolen. I have a different bat cycle.
I keep the boxes because I fell in love with the front art on the box. It never crossed my mind to keep it cause It might be worth something later. Just loved the artwork. I loved how Kenner and Toybiz would But such cool art on the boxes of their playsets and vehicles. That was a big selling point that caught kids eyes and probably adult collectors back then too.
Thanks buddy! These are the toys that started it for me bro. I fell in love with Batman from that moment. An these toys are the oldest in my collection. So they mean alot to me. Just like my ninja turtles cause that movie came out the following year and i was hooked..
This is tight I only had batman the joker and Bob the goon figures always want the whole collection I recently found toy biz batman and joker a few weeks ago 🎉I think iam going in on This line nice review keep up the good work 😎
Thank you I appreciate it! I love these toys alot cause they were my first ones out of everything I own. I know they have better ones that dropped after these. But anything from when I was little I hold close to me in my collection. Even something as small as a cheap $1 store figure I just cant get rid of if I played with it as a kid lol.
Never cease to amaze me with your collection and I really appreciate the reviews and comparisons. I hope McFarlane does a Batmobile like this in the Super Powers line. The Batwing would be a super easy cash grab by just rereleasing the blue one in black.
I totally agree! Im sure if we give it some time, he will release it again in a different paint scheme. I love what he has been doing with both the multiverse and super powers lines. And thanks man! I have been collecting for a long time. So being able to show off my toys to people who appreciate them makes me feel good. Im happy you guys get some joy out of these old vehicles as I do.

This collection is my first introduction to batman as well. Got this Batmobile for Christmas when I was 4. An from there I was hooked. Toybiz and kenner had the best marketing ever. I wanted these toys just off how amazing the art looked on the box lol.

Love my old kenner figures. they will never be replaced in my cave.
Awesome review! I have all the figures and the Batmobile w/cocoon. I really need to get the rest of the vehicles. Did you notice the front axle on the Joker Cycle is actually a "J"...that's awesome.
Thanks buddy! I think alot of people passed on these cause of how nice the kenner ones were. But they have a lot of good things about them that make them cool. I didn't notice the J on the joker cycle so ill have to open it up and take a look. Thanks for the info and thanks for the support 💪.
I always wanted the Batwing when I was kid back in 1989. Later when I was in my thirties I lucked up and found the body but with missing parts, mainly the wings and the canopy. Now years later I'm going on ebay to get the missing parts. Thanks for the info on how things go together. 😉👍🦇❤
To answer question the Joker used some type of jamming device which was in the comic adaptation also that gun has explosive round in them which is how it took out the Batwing.
i don't remember seeing a Batcylce in the movie, that batcycle looks cool, i wonder if they planned on having a scene in the 1989 movie with Batman riding a motorcycle/batcycle
No it wasn't in there. I think they just added it to the line to reuse the mold. It was the robocop cycle at first if i remember but Ill have to check.
Cool review, I didnt know there were other joker's vehicles other than the chopper. The van is neat. Few years ago I got a loose and damaged toybiz Batmobile from eBay, to use It as base for a custom, since I never had any Batman Toy as kid. I choose the toybiz because in mu mind a Batmobile must have two seats: it's mandatory 😂
This turbine sound and electronic sound Batmobiles from toybiz seems to be pretty rare, since I didn't find any info or video about them on the internet... I tought there were only one version by this company, TBH...
I never ever looked them up cause i had the main one from the line. Not sure even what they do. I figured they were like wined up or remote control toys. An I never got into them kind of RC vehicles.
Ya! Mcfarlane is really kicking ass with the Dc license. I passed on the first 2 waves of the super powers toys. Only cause I had been collecting the Spinmaster 4" dc figures already since 2020. And I figured they already had so many characters within that two years before super powers dropped. But now Spinmaster just stopped making new characters and just does repaints. So now Im seeing how many cool characters Mcfarlane is making in that line and Im deciding on jumping in now. So definitely seeing some cool figures and vehicles coming in that super powers line.
Also Batman killing in the Keaton films was based off of the comics from 1939 until about the mid 1940s which Batman did kill hell he was even a smoker at 1 time.
Yeah I never had a issue with him killing. I just didnt understand why people got so made about Ben Affleck and him blowing people away. If batman was real a guy Im sure [people would be getting killed every now and then.
in the 1989 movie we saw a Joker green and purple car, that chased the Batmobile, but in this toyline they gave you a van, and then we saw a Joker helicopter, like Thanos had one , but in this toyline they gave you a motorcycle
It’s Batman like you never seen them before hey joker surprise miss me time for a change that disguise won’t work joker no try this so long Batman bat jet wings out fire you got great new weapons Batman but I don’t run out of tricks you’ll need them Batman the dark knight collection
Ohhh the old commercials were everything to me as a kid. Remember how a lot of the old batman commercials around 94 or so would show the kid in all black clothes and sun glasses. I used to think he was so cool with them shades and turtleneck 😂😂
Also the shield mode from the Toy Biz Batmobile can fit the Kenner Batmobile also I may shock some people but I actually prefer the Toy Biz Batmobile if it had a top it would be a no contest also I got it as a present for my 7th birthday in 92 (I lost that 1 as I did with a lot of my toys) I would of traded the firing middle piece for it making sounds for the machine guns I also like that the Toy Biz Batmobile had a trunk after I have Batman beat The Joker I would stuff Joker in that trunk. While I did have the Kenner Batwing as a kid (also from 92 my father generally bought my Batman toys especially if I did well in school he even pretend he was The Joker when we have father son bonding time) I would say it's even between The Kenner Batwing and Toy Biz Batwing Kenner has the better weapons and features but Toy Biz has the pincher and I feel the look of that Batwing is more accurate to the movie as the Kenner Batwing was detailed to a fault(7 year old me wouldn't have cared about the details as I just played with the vehicle) Another dislike is The Batskiboat has a painted bat picture in the center when I bought or re bought vehicle from Toy Biz line and Kenner lines I opped not to put the bat symbol on the vehicles that were in the film for film accuracy (It's only a minor annoyance I still in enjoy the hell out of the toy).
Hey Buddy! I grew up with my first toys being the toybiz Batman movie vehicles and figures. So I can feel you on your views towards the two lines. i think the toybiz ones got skipped over so easily cause they didn't last long with the Dc line before Kenner got the license back. And both Batmobiles have things about them that I love. That trunk that opens was so cool to me as a kid and the missiles popping out where the guns were supposed to be was cool when i was a kid. Plus it being a two seater was a big deal as well. But i do love the look of the Kenner one and It having a canopy made it so much more popular. Like you said, growing up with these toys makes them have alot more sentimental value to people like us. people who grew up with the kenner ones first dont see the value of the toybiz ones as we do.
These were my first toys i remember having actually. I remember opening the Batmobile on Christmas when I was 3 or 4. An i loved the art on the box, so I made sure to keep it so I could have a cool picture to put my toys in front of. After that every time I got a new vehicle I would keep the box just cause the art was so cool on the boxes. Thats why I open a lot of new toy vehicles now cause they normally dont have a closed box with art on them. Now it will be a open box where you can see and touch the toy so there is no art work on the box to make it worth keeping.
i didn't know about/see these vehicles, i guess i never bothered to look for vehicles i only got the toy biz batman figure and the joker figure from the movie, i don't know if i even got bob the goon
i don't know if there was a van that i know of in toylines, that you could put action figures in, maybe the A Team, i don't know if they made a van for 4 inch figures or not.
They are both reissued vehicles. When I got older I found out they were just reused vehicles from other toy lines toybiz had. They van is actually the Punishers van. But as a kid these toys are what put me onto Batman. He was my first superhero I was introduce too.
I never knew that. I just check this info after I read your comment ,and yes she's no longer with us. So we just lost another great actor from Batman The Animated Series almost in one year we lost bouth. The first who passed away was Kevin Conroy last year in Novemer. Rest in Piece. 🙏
you might not want to paint the gcpd van, there is supposed? to be a gcpd series coming to max or an arkham asylum series? either way the gcpd and arkham asylum are represented on that van
So, let me get this straight. The Batman toyline without Robin had a seat for him in the Batmobile but the Batman toylines WITH Robin (Batman Forever and Batman & Robin) didn't? Wow. Oh right, they wanted to sell his bike.
Thats basically right. Back then it was all about selling toys when them movies came out. I heard robin was supposed to be in this movie actually, but they cancelled having him in it. They never made a robin figure for this movie through toybiz. But when Kenner took over the line, they did make a robin figure. But like you said they made a new batmobile and it was a one-seater. Made no sense.
@@TheCaveofWonders7 it used to peeve me off so much as a kid. I noticed in the movies the Batmobile started canonically having one seat which also irritated me.
@@Dragonrider1227 I didnt notice it as a kid till 97 in the batman and Robin movie. As soon as it started you see that huge light up batmobile and only batman would fit in it. and it had no canopy so that bothered me. But then Robin had his own bike so they definitely made that movie to sell toys.
I just wonder how old was this guy when the 89 batman movie came out he looks young its cool he said he played with them when he was a kid so late 30s I see this you tubers that talk about old toys like they played with them and there azz wasn't even in dippers when they came out lol I was in 7th grade when that movie had came out I remember because I had bought the folder with the picture of batman standing in front of the 89 boatmobile and had it put in my locker door when I opened it there it was lol
I'm actually about to be 38! Alot of people think Im young but I'm pushing 40 almost. Ill have a 20 year old daughter in 3 months lol. But I was born in 86 so my first introduction to batman was Keaton in this movie. I didn't see it in theaters only on VHS! But this Batmobile I got when I was almost four on that Christmas of 89. Cause that whole year was about batman for me till Ninja turtles came out and my birthday when i turned 5 was The ninja turtles movie and some of the playmates toys. Almost all of my toys that are open in my Cave are from when I was a child besides the new stuff. I actually have old pictures of me with the toys so maybe Ill share some of them one day. But yeah I love toys man so I been collecting since I was 4.
Exactly! I remember him throwing that guy down the bell tower at the end before he fought the joker. Same with Batman Returns, He was killing the Penguins guys in the begging of the movie. So as a kid I never thought Batman was some saint.
I love me some star wars. But I only have the bigger At-at walker. from the legacy line in 2008 I think. Just way to many figures and vehicles to collect. debating on starting with the newer vintage 3.75 collection.
Toybiz made god awful 1989 batman toys, back then I picked them up new in bargain basements for £1 each, they were shit back then and there still shit now..... Alot of bad toys came out in the 1990"s nothing to do with the films at all. Terrible plastic crap...
I cant say I agree cause i love my toys from when I was little. I was born in the 80s, so I was a 90s baby and grew up with this stuff. My first toys were actually most of these vehicles. An they gave me alot of play time. Kenner ones that came later were way better than what toybiz did. But these still are cool to have in my collection. But everyone has their opinion so I understand.

i don't know if there was a van that i know of in toylines, that you could put action figures in, maybe the A Team, i don't know if they made a van for 4 inch figures or not.
They made this same van for the punisher. But other that and the A team only other vans made were for tmnt toys
The Toybiz Joker Van and Joker Cycle I didn't even know existed. I never remember seeing these in the stores.
They are both reissued vehicles. When I got older I found out they were just reused vehicles from other toy lines toybiz had. They van is actually the Punishers van. But as a kid these toys are what put me onto Batman. He was my first superhero I was introduce too.
R.i.p. to the actor who voice Harley Quinn 😢
yes I guess but this is about the 89 batman movie
yeah she definitely brought the character to life when they created her. Any actor who played Harley after her followed her blueprint.
I never knew that. I just check this info after I read your comment ,and yes she's no longer with us. So we just lost another great actor from Batman The Animated Series almost in one year we lost bouth. The first who passed away was Kevin Conroy last year in Novemer. Rest in Piece. 🙏
I used my moms oil sheen to shine my 1989 batmoblie when I was kid, my batmobile was dull like your batwing.
Yeah it bothered me as a kid that they didnt match up. I didnt do a great job spraying it as a kid. Might have to retry it now that im older.
you might not want to paint the gcpd van, there is supposed? to be a gcpd series coming to max or an arkham asylum series? either way the gcpd and arkham asylum are represented on that van
The van is a good size so If figures are big like the McFarlane ones then Ill keep it for Batman line of toys.
"Alright ,ok guys"
Sorry! just getting used to recording myself
@TheCaveofWonders7 no need to apologize. It was just something I noticed. 👍😎
Edit: it could be your little catch phrases that makes you unique. 😏
@@impala359 well I know it can get annoying! So im trying to work on it k. Im new to this still so Just getting my mojo down you know.
You should get a 3D printer cover for that batmobile
I know a guy that makes these for all of the older Batmobiles from the 90s.
Lmfao. I said the same shit. Idk how people ignore batman murdering sprees lol batman wasn't fuckin around lol
Exactly! I remember him throwing that guy down the bell tower at the end before he fought the joker. Same with Batman Returns, He was killing the Penguins guys in the begging of the movie. So as a kid I never thought Batman was some saint.
its the same bike of robocop
Yeah thats what I can see! toybiz did this alot. Even the joker van was the punishers van as well.
I think Kenner did a way better job than Toy Biz.
Definitely did! Kenner will always go down as my favorite toy company.
any star was toys
