one of my gripes with this show is that a lot of the alien species end up being very similar to humans and i get it, other than some of the more important species we never really see anything unique though, i mean these guys were literally just normal looking people, that just weren't from earth
it's easier for the people to make the show, it's spending money on unique aliens (which to be honest, most people wouldn't care) vs. spending money on literary EVERYTHING else, script writing, actors, special effects, everything else is more important imo
