@@LauraintheKitchendo you have to bake the pie crust first? Wouldn’t it cook in the oven with the egg mixture in it? I always thought you cook a crust when you make a cold pie but if it’s a hot pie you cook in with the ingredients in it?
Glad she posted this as a base recipe and noted the filling is 12 oz of whatever you like!.🙂 I basically did your ingredients but used Canadian bacon and spinach. I definitely prefer Swiss so yeah, that was a no brainer for me too! I had mushrooms.on hand and of course onions so I threw that in too. Freezing leftover filling for the next one. This first try is in the oven now. I hope it comes out okay.
Yes, please!! Love quiche. Especially broccoli with cheddar. I never blind bake the crust and it always comes out great. Guess I should try that, though. Thanks, Laura!! ✌️❤️
Heck, here in Florida the dont even have eggs in our supermarkets? It’s a rarity when they come in and bought out immediately if you’re not there when they do come in.
Oh come on, a recipe for a home made crust would be great. Especially for us over here in Europe that do not get hands on store bought crust that easily.
I don’t know if you know this but there is a thing called TH-cam and you can do a search for recipes and tutorials. I bet you could even search for Laura in the Kitchen Pie and you’ll find a few videos to choose from that will show you how she makes a pie crust. Or you can go to the description of this video and follow the link to her website where you’ll be able to do a search for pie crust there. Sometimes Laura puts out short form videos like this because not everyone likes long videos.
Where in Europe are you where you can't fund some puff pastry or other pastry at the store? Maybe not exactly like this but you can definitely find some dough
Laura, I love you, but please get rid of that scratched up teflon coated pan asap. The toxins leaking from that thing made it hard to watch you create this amazing dish. Thanks for another great quick recipe!
Why did you change the lock the image? I wanna see you’re your jokes your style this way I hate it. I’m sorry to say it but anyway it’s your channel not liking it.😢
Onions, mushrooms and bacon … a delicious combination! Can’t wait to try this one!
It really is the best!

@@kjm481you have to par bake the crust beforehand because with the weight of the eggs, the crust won’t be fully cooked by the time the eggs are cooked
@ thank you for clearing that up for me 😊
Pepperjack is a great choice for quiche! It's one of our favorites in grilled cheese and quesadillas, too.
this is perfect for meal prep! Thanks Laura!
Laura that looks so yummy. I love quiche. I like it with sautéed spinach. Ham and cheese. Have a blessed day. ❤

Oh, this looks delicious!
That looks delish
that looks so tasty 😋
Great video Laura😊
Lovely! Is this something that can be prepared ahead of time and kept in the fridge overnight before baking, or will it make the crust too soggy?
I only ever make my Mom’s quiche. Ham, broccoli, and swiss. It’s honestly the best (in my opinion).
How would you know, though, if it's the only one you ever make?
Thanks for the good video
Yum!!!!

Missing your intro music, it was dope, but I will always love your sense of cooking with love! ❤️
Thanks for the love! 🥰
Great video🔥🔥

Too bad a dozen of commoners white eggs are approaching $10 in Southern California..
what?????????
It's already $10.99 for a dozen in our area. I'm located in LA county.

In every country store brought pie-crust is not available.
Please give an alternative.
that’s silly….make your own pie crust!✌🏼
@DjD5 do you think if I know I would have asked?
Why don't you help me to learn one. Do send me a recipe for a perfect pie crust.
Why not rinse the mushrooms get that dirt off of them?
Why are egg shells in America white while most countries have beige/yellow-brown color. Someone put me out of my misery 🤷♀️🤦♀️
I'm guessing it's the kind of chicken or/and what they're fed.
A chicken's egg shell color is based on the breed of the chicken, it has nothing to do with what they eat.
White eggshells are laid by white colored hens and brown by various brown colored hens. This is how it works in New Zealand.
What do you feed your chickens ?
@@maryhickton-burnett8168 this makes sense as I haven seen the white chickens in any of the countries I see the beige eggs.
Any suggestions for egg breakfasts for a crowd😅
I make quiches all the time and I never precook my filling, nerve had a problem
Reminds me of your Frittata video, ages ago.. Can you please post new Frittata recipes? Hehe🩵✨🥺🥺

First of all, I love you so much!! Wish we could meet in person. I own your cookbook, the first one.

She says in literally almost every video that these videos are just an addition to her original content.
Publishing a Quiche recipe while eggs are $7 a dozen….. how tone deaf can you possibly be?
What? Oh, Are you the only person in the world who watches? On Earth Peace, Goodwill towards all People.

@@LauraintheKitchen ok i will look out for it, what time? make it early like 6 pm est, a good start time through like 9pm.
Not a fan of the voice over. Great recipe but part of why some of us watch is your personality, which voice over doesnt capture. My $.02
I can cook a few things.
