could you please do more videos on r&b music theory including major 7, minor 7, and dominant 7 chords and how they fall into the major scales? all music theory video cover scales and how major and minor chords fall into them, but i would love to learn how the 7 type chords fall into them. you are so good at explaining! thank you!
Hey Carlton, been watching your channel a few years, first song I learnt was Jungle - Drake. A huge thanks to you and everything you've put out there for free, you're helping a lot of people
Can you do more r&B and gospel chord progressions and stuff, because honestly you the only one I really found on TH-cam that really breaks it down for new beginners to understand

Carleton Maybell I Find Myself Falling Back Into The Same Keys When I Write. My Favourite Keys Being B Minor, F And F# Minor, C Minor, C# Minor And Eb Major. I Know Eb Major’s Relative Key Is C# Minor. I Love To Write Using Minor Chord Progressions.
Hey Carleton, maybe I've missed something but I don't understand why you called the chords 2 and 3?? Everything was clear to me on the other video ( 3 easy RnB Chord progression) but here I'm confused... Thank you in advance
In this video I'm in the key of E major. Which is E - F# - G# - A - B - C# - D# - E. So I call the progression a 2-3-4 because we're going from the F# to the G# to the A. Hope that helps 👍🏾
@@CarletonM Hi Carleton thank you so much! I had figured it out at some point my bad. Wasn't very familiar with the different keys yet :) Thank you for providing us with these type of videos I appreciate, looking forward for more!
Yeah Like C. G. Mathieu said, Cmaj would be the easiest because it's basically all white keys. Here's another tip too. If you play IImin7 - III7 - IVmaj7 you can create an even smoother vibe. Changing the II from a minor 7 to a dominant 7 gives this progression waaayyyyy more flavor. If you have any more questions about this email me.

What’s the easiest key to play in?
This particular progression is easy to play in Cmaj key as it's only back keys. Dmin7-Emin7-F7
