    It's ironic to hear Tremblay talk about Roy!! Not knowing that 10 years after this clip that he would be the reason why Roy's tenure with the Habs came to an unceremoniously end.

      @@Tubewings Whatever issues between the 2 seems to be a thing of the past because Roy & Tremblay sat next to each other while at Lafleur's funeral a couple of weeks ago!!

    I remember seeing the pic of all the rookies lined up. Kurvers and Skrudland also I believe. I saw Lemieux in the minors after this ... late season call-up I believe, before his playoff heroics.

    And this is EXACTLY what is wrong with the organization ever since the departure of Serge Savard as G.M. and the changes in ownership. The Montreal Canadiens had the best scouting and development system in the league and constantly had talented players under contract in the minors. This was because the ownership understood that they didn't know how to operate a professional hockey team and therefore hired the best possible people and then let them do their job. The team will never return to the top of the NHL's organizations until they return to this system of scouting, drafting and developing.
