They just get bailed out anyway. Most of these companies I suspect have not been solvent for some time now, but this will change nothing. They now exist as propaganda outlets, like legacy news media. Withdrawing your money will do nothing. I'll tell you what WILL do something though. Bullying. The people who still play these games are still very receptive to bullying and hazing. That's why it is cracked down on so viciously by moderators and chat filters. The /spit controversy is an example. Most games made today also have no way to pvp grief. Bullying needs to make a comeback for us to exert any control over this.
they removed honor gained from the bots that run dire maul east- we were farming them - its whitemane server 200-300 bots, insane kills per hour, honor used for pvp ranks, well blizzard caused no honor to be gained in diremaul, the bots are generating 3k a month maybe way more, if no1 knew gold buying in wow classic is out of control, reported over 500 k irl money used n gold per month

I don't need Blizzard to play good games, but I do need Blizzard to play World of Warcraft, and I really want to play WoW lol
I mean, there seem to be no end of pirate servers....
