So when he atk the link 4 opponent thought he crash and then at dmg step he activated widow anchor, and kink kuriboh cant activate effect at dmg step? Am I missing smt?
Link kuribo must activate at the start of the battle phase, so he tricked him by attacking the highest monster, therefore the opponent got greedy and was late for link kuribo to activate his effect.
Awesome replays as always. I think if you struggle against Snake-Eyes playing some effect veilers will definitely help. I think their full combo end board is just too strong even for Striker unfortunately, especially if they have hand traps as well. Stopping them early seems most effective. Would love to hear your thoughts though.
I definitely agree with you. Normally I don't like overpreparing for one matchup in MD, but the majority of games I'm getting are Snake-Eye and Kashtira, so Veiler seems fine against both. I usually avoid running Veiler in this deck in MD because I also want the 6th card I draw to be live, but the difficulty of the matchup will have to make me reconsider. I also think Promethean Princess makes the matchup much harder than when Tearlament was at it's peak in MD because she invalidates Hayate, so another copy of Shark Cannon may also be worth it.
@@auctaway Drawing veiler for turn does suck without a doubt so I was hesitant as well. It’s been good so far though. I also considered running Shark Cannon at 2 but the amount of Kashtira on ladder made me decide against it.
By the way, that play to Hayate dump anchor and linkage into Kagari for it, steal Goddess to get lethal was beautiful, I don’t think I would’ve thought of that line. Well played 👌
It genuinely gets so tiring sometimes. You can have a good game or just be instantly robbed of the chance to actually play without relying on luck because that card is legal.
I'm guessing Kashtira are taking advantage of Snake-Eyes being everywhere to spam Shifter and turbo out Ariseheart. Never considered them a problem matchup but without Zeus beating them can take a while. I'm still trying to make use of Snake-Eyes as an engine without letting it take over my entire deck. I've unironically tried playing without hand traps since my goal right now is to use an opponent's board against them. It's been fine but the games against other Snake-Eyes builds are pretty lengthy, so climbing is probably going to take a while. And I've honestly had more issues with the timer than my opponents for the most part.
The real problem with Snake-Eyes and Kashtira is that I'd say the majority of Snake-Eye lists are on 3 Unicorn + 1 Birth because it helps play through handtraps since they don't have Bonfire. The opponent leading with Unicorn makes it hard to tell what they can be on now and Snake-Eyes backed with the Birth banish because extremely hard to beat if you don't draw a way to instantly deal with it before you try to break the board. I also don't consider actual Kashtira decks an issue ever since Birth went to 1, but I like Zeus since it gives more consistent ways to deal with a common deck. Also the Snake-Eye cards do seem really fun in Striker, but it feels bad to play (for me at least) to use them without having access to Camellia. Hopefully she gets added soon.
15:30 😵💫 the highest IQ play I’ve ever seen 👏🏻 very well played.

That legit is insane IQ right there.
ggs! noticed few misplays here and there as you mention, but it is hard to play this deck perfectly every game. keep it up!

Very Good Play! Everyone makes mistakes, so you don't have to worry.
Thank you for the kind words and once again for watching!
That Snake-Eyes player constantly discarding Maxx C at the end made me super upset lol

I was shocked by Zeus
😍😍

Decklist?
It's the same as whatever I had in my previous video with -1 Zeke, +1 Zeus because Kashtira is really common on ladder now
Decklist please.
