Doing this will reset your app settings. If One IU started crashing after you downloaded a certain app (it was a theme app in my case) then go to settings (scroll down on ur phone from the top) and open you wallpaper settings. Set the basic android theme and that should solve the problem.

Can't access "Apps" under "Settings" because even the SETTINGS app crashes.
I have the exact same problem, issue started a few days ago, one ui crashes on a loop and whenever I try to open the apps or app menu, the ui dumps again. It does however work fine in safe mode and maximum power saving mode. If I figure out a fix I'll let you know
@@AK-ZL1 I'm happy (in a way) to see that other users encounter the same issue. Same thing here, a couple days ago, the One UI Home randomly started to crash on a loop as you said, to the point I barely could access any app even the settings. I've tried everything (clear cache, data, software updates...) even though it's a tiny bit better now, I can't access apps normally, it's really annoying... Don't know how this is fixable
@@chloeevd3743 I found out how the issue was occurring on my side! For whatever reason, having my resolution set at HD+ (battery saver resolution) is what was causing the crash. When i changed it to FHD+, it stopped crashing. Figured it out by switching to maximum battery save and noticing the issue stopped. It gave me the idea that maybe it's related to the resolution, and sure enough the issue stopped when switching to either FHD+ or WQHD+. Might not be the issue for everyone, but it's what worked for me. My theory is that I have a 3rd party app installed that updated and has a bug causing issues with HD+ resolution seeing as my phone didnt crash on safe mode, meaning it would most likely be an issue related to one of the disabled 3rd party apps.

Soooo THANKS for this tip 🙏🏼 it has helped me too much. Three days ago the system asked me to update the software of my cell phone and after doing so, it failed horribly, it restarted on its own, it got too hot, the battery charge did not last at all, the apps did not respond, the interface was super slow, everything was super bad and I didn't know how to correct the problem, until I found this video and woooow... everything is back to normal.
