On MIUI 12.5.6, when it says "System Interface isn't responding", you wouldn't see buttons (close, tabs, back) and its almost impossible to close app you're in if its not responding. After a restart it was stuck on boot for minutes, but turned on.

Received new google 6a Wednesday but I have to return it to store because "System UI isn't responding" was every 5 minutes. I tried all the steps and even the factory reset. Unfortunately, it didnt work so I guess its a buggy phone! Its a shame as I prefer android to IOS.

didnt work for my issue. when i restart my phone everything is okay but when i turn the screen off and then on again, neither the three buttons at the bottom of the screen (back, home, tabs) nor the draggable menu from the top work. when i try to press one of the bottom buttons, the phone freezes shortly, does not perform the chosen action and then i can operate it again. i tried a hard reset, but it didnt fix the issue.
All this is okay, but how am I supposed to try all these opitions when I see " System UI has stopped" and the only opion given is to close the App, which turns my phone off. I tried not doing this and my phone turns off anyway. I have since given up, and as my phone a Sony Xperian was around eight years old, I just brought a new one, thing is the old phone stilll needs to be fixed if I am to be able to tranfer my data to the new phone.

Then pls factory reset do not install any new app, not even WhatsApp, then see if the issue still persists. if that is the case may be there is some underlying hardware issues... if you dont face the issue after factory data reset, try to install apps one by one and see which app is giving this issue... the idea is you need to reduce the number of apps that you install, because you phone is not able to handle the load that is why you often get this issue. Now, my systems audio sometimes will not play. At all. Not TH-cam, Spotify, or even games. Honestly bro might be time to replace it. I googled: Motorola G power "System UI isn't responding" and your video was at the top of the list. Step by step directions that WORKED. The trick is to restart your phone at the point the directions indicate. A minor inconvenience while it reboots, but it sure beats a slow and laggy phone with that toast message popping up all the time.

Thanks a lot, I use my phone for deliveries and today I panicked.. Went to a phone service, looked at it, told them the issue, recommended factory reset.. I came home, went online (thank god I still have a computer in the house) and found this video, problem solved in less than 1 minute, no need for factory reset... It works excellent now!

So here’s the thing for me, I found my old android phone (lg k31 rebel) which used over half its storage just for base settings, but I wanted to use an auto clicker cuz apple decided to not let auto clicker be a thing. I googled: Motorola G power "System UI isn't responding" and your video was at the top of the list. Step by step directions that WORKED.
The trick is to restart your phone at the point the directions indicate. A minor inconvenience while it reboots, but it sure beats a slow and laggy phone with that toast message popping up all the time.

When I put it on it show system UI isn't responding, app info or wait
After clicking on App info,it shows force stop, after clicking on it and clearing cache, it still doesn't work
And there's no way I can get to settings because it's saying settings also isn't responding

Thanks a lot, I use my phone for deliveries and today I panicked.. Went to a phone service, looked at it, told them the issue, recommended factory reset.. I came home, went online (thank god I still have a computer in the house) and found this video, problem solved in less than 1 minute, no need for factory reset... It works excellent now!

Hello Bro - Did you try factory reset?
If yes as mentioned in the video factory reset will remove the data and phone will be back to the factory settings.
If you have tried other steps but you see this symptoms, that is not practically possible.

@@brainerstech hi, i surfed more about wat happened to the wallpaper, i see many others also have the same problem as me, well ur technique solved my orginal problem but as the app had removed it's old feature the wallpaper i had was not available anymore, i fixed my problem, thank you for helping me out, i really appreciate for replying so fast

So here’s the thing for me, I found my old android phone (lg k31 rebel) which used over half its storage just for base settings, but I wanted to use an auto clicker cuz apple decided to not let auto clicker be a thing. But I forgot the password so I did the factory reset in the not as known way to get back into the phone, then o started getting the system yo isn’t responding message so I’m trying the factory reset again, I will reply to this comment and say how it went

Why do we have to click the force stop option? Why cant we just clear the cash? I first just cleared the cash without doing the force stop. But still the same problem, system UI not responding. What significance does the force stop actually do? Is that an important step and what will happen if I do that?

Brother - Yes, but google photos are backed up to cloud, you can get it back if you log in with same google account.
But before that pls try all other steps.
Even you can backup your files then try Erase data.

@@brainerstech it only happens to one of my apps, roblox, I updated it cleared the cache even uninstall and installed it, made a new account and it still wont fix it, whenever I join a game on roblox my screen freezes and turns dark for 1 to 2 mins and then the "system ui isn't responding" thing appears idk what to do man
