Girl, I was ready to be up in the copy cats comments for you hahaha. I'm also a small business owner and sometimes I day dream of having a YT channel or tiktok but honestly sometimes sharing just damns you in the end. Good for you for keeping the sparkle low key.
I'm not a crafter, but I recently posted an image of some soap loaves I made in a soap-maker's forum. People in that forum said they downloaded my image to keep as a screensaver ... and that kind of bothered me because it's 100% my "work" even though I published in a small online forum. I wouldn't be surprised if someone passed it off as their own - since my branding (watermark) was not on the photo because it would've gotten me banned from the group. It just makes me reconsider sharing my "work" with othets because some people just ... take. Anyway, your channel was suggested to me after I searched for farmers/craft markets tips. Love your stuff, though! Cake topper was adorable. I'm a perfectionist, too, so I totally get how much effort you put into everything you create. 😭
Ohhhh do I have a storytime about this lady I met at Michaels - her IG was OTHER PEOPLE'S PHOTOS! I have to talk about in my videos one of these days. That IRKED me. I reported her page and then just forgot about her. I wish I could remember her "business" name because that I would expose. Not being about to watermark your work seems like a red flag. But PLEASE don't stop sharing your work! Watermark it, even if it means not posting in groups like that. Thank you for your support on my channel, it means the world to me!!
I used to do paper crafting videos (they are all still up on my channel) but I started selling and collecting vintage jewelry... that is because multiple people were copying my work exactly and not giving me credit. They were all twice my age, like my mother's age r older and copying me... THEY ae supposed to be the seasoned professionals lol It totally ruined the fun so I stopped doing paper crafting videos.. you HAVE to call these people out or they won't stop and they will do it to someone else.

I just don’t feel good w it bc everyone that puts out content gets copy cats really bad. To the point of them setting up other accounts very similar to your name for the purpose of confusing others to follow them instead of the original creator. Ppl will love you still without sharing your business secrets.

Sooo inspired to make some cake toppers with my cricut 😊 I also have issues with my printer it’s an Hp and I found what works is cleaning the print head and/or making sure the connection is on point for some reason mine lags and sends out blank sticker pages too
I totally understand you when it comes to working when the kids are home. Creators should start exposing exact duplicates copy cats. My personal opinion

Coming from a Ninerz Fan All of my life, I am not watching anymore videos....LOL...JUST KIDDING!!!! I am a Ninerz Fan but that won't stop me. I first stubbled upon your videos when you were in your other craft room. I loved watching you organize that space. I have since watched ALOT of your other videos but most of the time I don't comment because I have you on background while I am doing something else. I do cake toppers and cupcake toppers here and there but my passion is stamping and cardmaking. I find your videos inspiring and although I've been doing all things crafty as a hobby for many many years, I am taking the steps to start a small business of my own. I think that's what holds most of us back because we have all these ideas but we know that someone else is bound to copy something you worked so hard on. As frustrating as it is, take it as a compliment and know that your work will stand for itself. Setting yourself apart by just being you is all that you really need. COPYCATS don't last long because they eventually get tired and realize that they are not original, get frustrated and quit. It takes a lot of work to be a copycat...they will burn out sooner or later. Keep being you, keep that hustle Mama and continue to inspire. Much Love😘

We can't gate keep and post vidoes and except it not to spread. Lol I've seen this stuff for years and when I was a teen. I'm not sure how this is specific to this person. It's literally on cricut as a how to step by step. I've never seen this Channel until today and I made the same thing years ago.
While that is true, it's really terrible to scope out someone's best sellers and then be shady and make the EXACT same design and try to sell it as your own. It's rude. You have to add your own authenticity into your work, not copy someone else's work.
My designs are not from design space - I don't own a Cricut. They're my own because I design each one in silhouette studio and put my own twist to it. You best believe I will gate keep if I want to. I don't have to share anything with anyone, I choose to.
