i was stationed at former fort ord, monterey, and the woman i married flew out from my hometown so we could get married, the minister and his wife were there and we stood by that cross, we were married there and his wife took pictures, that was 1987, i got out in 89 came home and she died in 1993, i went back to monterey carmel september 2014 to re visit my past, im glad it hadnt changed much, except for former ft ord, thank you for posting this.
