- Hey guys! Parker York Smith here with 6 ways to style vans sneakers. We're also talking about how to keep them clean so you can be looking your best. There are SO many different ways to style them as they're definitely one of the most versatile shoes out there, but I put together a few super casual, one dressy, and one street inspired look for you.
My personal preference is the Vans Authentic, but if you prefer the Old Skool, Era, or slip-on, this video will still work great for you!

I’d actually recommend letting them air dry so they don’t shrink

I love wearing sneakers with a suit (even formal). The key is choosing a shoe that sits on the floor and is simple (e.g., CVO or slip-on). Keeping sneakers on the floor is a Vans black/block or a black monochrome.
Question: H🎉ow do you recommend drying the Vans slip-on shoe? My favorite sneakers are slip-ons.
My top sneakers are the Men's Keds Surer (1966 to 1972) in CVO or slip-on.

Did you size up or down for those or were they TTS?
They’re TTS. You could maybe go down a half, also consider what socks you’ll be wearing. A thicker sock will make them tighter obviously where a no show won’t.

Are they good to wear sockless? I see you wear some outfits sockless I don't own a pair & I hate wearing socks with my shoes.
Yeah for sure but you might have to wash them more regularly so they don’t stink

When I wash my vans the glue holding the midsole weakens and the midsole starts coming off. Is that because I wash them in warm water and not cold?
Yeah also be careful not to dry them on anything but low heat or air dry
