CONVERSE VS VANS | WHO MAKES THE BEST SNEAKERS?

- A lot of you seemed interested in a Vans Vs Converse video when I mentioned it in lasts week's video, so here it is. Now, I love to wear both Vans and Converse, and I love the footwear from both brands. BUT!… if I had to choose which company produces the best sneakers, which would I choose? Of course, this is all going to be down to personal preference and which sneakers work best for me. I’ll list the things I like and dislike about the sneakers from both brands and come to a decision by the end of the video.
To decide which company offers the best shoes, I’ll be looking at the versatility comfort and overall style of their footwear. I’ll also let you know which pair I’d buy if I could only choose one pair, although I have a feeling it’s not going to be easy.

The Chuck Lows and Vans MTEs are so much better in my opinion.
One thing about the Chucks High is we can wear a more vintage look-a- like outfit with them, really hard to pick one brand and that's why I own both of them as well, so versatile. Great video as always!!!

I've been wearing Vans the past 15 years or so but have recently started wearing Converse more and more. Im 30+ now and all the kids wear Vans now and it feels a bit more mature with a pair of low top Converse.

Can't go wrong with these 2 brands both awesome in any style.
Chuck Taylors gives me the ability to wear an old-fashion inspired outfit, and it still works bc of how timeless the shoe is, as well as wear them with newer fashion outfits
For low model style i prefer vans and for high i prefer Converse.. Just my opinion

Style-wise, I love them both. They have their own character and identity. But in my honest opinion, overall Vans made the better shoes out of the two. Better construction, better materials, better value, and will likely gives you more years of usage.
This is true. I own both, but more Van's. Vans are better made and have more longevity for years. Converse are cuter overall in design variety but when Van's has unique styles or themes they are great!
Not if you get chuck 70s. They are way better construction than vans. I don’t know how you can say that vans are good quality. I had two pairs and each of them fell apart after about a year. Adidas are also way better quality. Probably the regular chucks aren’t very good either though
Vans have been a staple in my wardrobe for years . Converse have only become comfy so they are now part of the rotation . So it wud be vans for me
I'm a fan of both. Converse has a more classic style that goes with just about anything. Vans is just a nice everyday casually stylish shoe.
Vans especially the comfycush line imo. That is definitely my cup of tea.
The fact that Nike owns Converse is a big reason why I'm more of a Van's guy now. They seem to hold up longer too, the soles of my converse always start to strip off after less than a year.
My converse have been worn to death and still look in great condition

Don't buy converse made in China, Vietnam or Cambodge... Buy made in USA and Japan
I used to only buy my chucks as high tops, but I just love the way the low top converse look with a no show sock and a slightly cuffed skinny jean. Great video again man

I love both. But Chuck Taylors are my choice. Classic. Versatile. Retro cool yet not offensive in any setting! Casual, yet able to be dressed up.

I’m a huge fan of both shoes as they fit my style. I own both brands lows and highs; as far as comfort the vans are slightly more comfortable for someone with wide feet. I do enjoy both styles equally. However, if I had to choose i’d choose the van authentic for the toe space.. both shoes offer a wide width which I’ve yet to try. Neither shoe is a all day shoe. You will def experience foot and back fatigue. I’d love to see more comfortable materials and foot support in both brands!

I love my chuck 70s and old skool. I can use them anywhere and for any style.these are the best shoe and must have in everyone's wardrobe.
I have chuck 70s because I get my fave pants(his old ones) from my dad, it just has that vintage vibe 🤩
Great video both shoes are good for any wardrobe, but if I could only choose one. I will go for Converse they do dig my style.

I used to wear Converse in my 20s and then migrated to Van's in my 30s. Van's are way more comfy and their variety is better. I think I have around 25 pairs of Van's now 🤘
Just bought my first classic Old Skools (Actually quite late, i'm 20) and they are really nice. I also have another pair which i pretty much used very little and they are made in leather, i think i will change their color and start from there. Greetings from Mexico Harry
I love Chucks High, but the baggy 90's jeans do look great with lows and wool socks.

I just bought a pair of vans sk8-his and would love a video of how to style them! keep up the great videos.
I have very broad feet. Vans fit me perfectly, Converse are far too narrow for my feet. For me, at least, it comes down to the foot shape. I can't wear Converse, but Vans have been my go-to's for 15+ years.
I have a pair of high Converse and low Vans, and the Vans are definitely more comfortable for wide feet, however I feel the Converse have more comfy soles.
They sell wide fit Chuck Taylors now. If you wanna try that style, that might work for you. I have wide feet as well.
I love both the high-top Chucks and the checkerboard slip-on Vans. They both REALLY get my attention! Especially when they're broken in and have all the creases. They stand out even more and I love that!! 😎😋😍👍☺️💯

At the moment I have a black Vans Old Skool and a black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star PRO Canvas. I'm looking forward to picking up a Converse Chuck 70 Plus White and maybe a Vans Slip-On Checkerboard or an Authentic black black.

Favorite pair of sneakers I ever owned were leather Chuck Taylors. Only thing is I’ve never owned a pair of converse that didn’t fall apart. Mind you I’d wear them everyday, even in the rain.

BIG HEADS UP!! If you buy the Chuck 70s make sure to go half a size down if you have normal or narrow feet. They fit longer than your normal true to size shoe.

I've got the chuck 70s and they are comfortable in walking but since I'm got wider foot they do hurt a little in long hours of wear. But in terms of fitting and lifting, vans is king cause when after broken in they are loose enough to feel comfortable but not too loose
Converse Chuck 70s high top is a good choice if you have to choose one
I just got the chuck all star leather, which come in black,white,all white,and all black, i got em in black with the white patch, which these shoes look like the original all stars in leather obviously, but also its got a sowed in patch, and even though i dont think the top is as thick as the 70, being made of leather it does take away from the flimsyness and makes the top sturdy, not sure if the sole is as thick as the 70, but its a cross between the 70 and original all star and looks awesome for only 5$ over the original all stars with better quality. I own a pair of Vans OG Authentic LX VL VLT and a pair of leather Chucks low. I gravitate towards low tops because IMO, they’re more versatile than high tops.
Converse has evolved more in the last couple of years. The 70s are fenomenal shoes and real confortable too. But now Vans are investing on confort.
I love the 70s too, burgondy pair and black. White look pretty nice, i also haven sk8 vans but hey nowhere near as good, still quite confy and nice
I’m just a sucker for converse high tops mainly because I like to cosplay the Tenth Doctor as he wears them.
If I had to choose I'd say I probably prefer vans over converse, only because Im not all that keen on the toe cap on converses which is probably the same reason why I'm not a huge fan of superstars. Great video as always 😎

I have 4 pairs of Converse and 11 pairs of Vans. Either way, I wouldnt go with out one of the brands, both are so different and useable for me with outfits!
There’s a lot of videos about the style of shoes but not much about support for your feet. I find that some of the lows hurt my feet when I’m working (that being said, I do have flat feet so I’d need extremely supportive shoes).
I do love the high tops!
I would look into comfier shoes if you have problems with your feet. Neither of these will be great
Hi! I'm flat footed too! I really recommend the new balance 860v12 and asics! They're comfortable and great support for flat feet! These even fit foot braces indeed you use those like I do!! Hope this helped!

The Chuck Taylor II was my favorite. Very sad they discontinued it. I bought every pair I could find (6 pairs in total) when I realized I wouldnt see them again. Unfortunately all 6 got used to their end.
I am a bit confused regarding the sizing of Chuck 70 hi. I am wearing size 8 of Vans Sk8 hi and it’s quite comfortable.
All of my pairs of Vans fail at the same point, the outsole separates at the toe or heel. A lot of the times my Vans only last me about a year. On the other hand, I've had the same pair of Converse for about 4 years and they are still in good condition.
Cool video. Personally, I like the sk8 his with more casual looks just because I feel like they stand out a little bit less

When it comes to low-tops I personally prefer vans to converse, but converse high-tops are just fire. Both are so good

Great video? Im confused about I'm undecided if I should choose chuck 70 or chuck all star in the converse model. There is a difference of about 40 dollars, do you think this difference is worth buying the chuck 70?

What I like:
Black Converse Hi-Top (Mostly wear hi-tops in winter)
Light colored vans slip on (wear only in summer)
would consider a white Chuck low top just to have a pair of white sneakers but I would probably get an original chucks for that instead of chuck 70's. For white/light colored sneakers like the vans slip on and chuck low-top, they're gonna get dirty and wet etc so I will probably want a refresh more often. No reason to get the higher quality chuck 70's for low tops.

Style wise I just love the Vans and have never cared for Converse 🤷♂️ HUGE Vans fan and it’s what I wear the majority of the time. Old Skool is my fave
In conclusion, low tops from Vans are good and high tops from Converse are good. Also, the Chuck Taylor 70 is the best one overall

Both have their places in one's wardrobe. Converse does it for me though. I always get a "cheapie, cant afford converse so I'll go with Vans vibe" when I see people using Vans. It sounds nuts but thats the vibe i tend to get. Good video.

I own a pair of Converse all star and a pair of High top Vans and i might prefer Vans only because of how much comfortable to my foot thet are in comparation

I prefer the look of vans, generally, but like I keep vans for like 6 months before throwing them out. They fall apart really quickly. Whereas I've had pairs of converse that have lasted like 5 years. So I think I'm on the cons side.

I love converse, I have owned them in the past. But they are so uncomfortable!!!! Especially since I have wide feet. So I love both but imma go with the shoe I can wear all day! Vans for me !

I think for the durability I would suggest to use Cons instead of Vans. Why? Because this is based on my experience, I have Vans Era Checkerboard I wear them quite often but after 1 year of use the side I don't know what is the terms/phrase the side rubber already broken especially is you do squat often it will tear up easily. Different with Cons, I have 2 Cons the 70s in Navy and One Star it's almost 2 year and the rubber the sole it's still solid and sturdy not like Vans, maybe because Converse now are backed up with Nike their materials and comfort are great if I compare it to Vans who now are owned by VF Corp. So, in my opinion if you wanted to wear shoes that have comfort and durability you can choose Cons, but if you are more 'wild' and wanted something different then choose Vans because their graphics are great while Cons are quite simple almost like plain milk.
