    Hahaha I love your reaction, this is exactly how we felt when we 1st visited Kuala Lumpur in 2011, we moved there in 2012 and stayed for 2 years, we now have bought a place in KLCC and looking to move to Malaysia with our kids. Its by far my favourite city in the world

    1. KL has changed a lot.
    2. With every mega skyscraper, they'll build a new neighbourhood around it. So you can expect new developments around TRX and the Merdeka 118 towers. And in the area of the now demolished Pudu Prisons.
    3. The administrative capital was moved to Putrajaya. Have a look. There, the public transport is not well developed yet. But the buildings are new. And the bridges are gorgeous.
    4. Greater KL consist of a number of cities. Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang and Port Klang. Everyone of them is a work in progress. Greater KL has a population of 8 million.
    5. Go to Genting Highlands. Take the bus to the cable car station. But don't gamble at the casino.
    6. By 2030, it will be a truly different KL. So come back for a 2nd look.

    Guys, KL will become even more futuristic in the next few years. Stay tuned, there are more world-class developments coming up with another 35 MRT stations but, fortunately KL usually will develop with lots of greenery, parks too that's why you see big KLCC park. Awwhh. Romania isnt backward at all. In fact in 2021 its already considered a developed country. Malaysia is actually still a developing country. Its easy to be blinded by the high rise building and feels like certain cities are more developed when it isnt the case. Bucharest has a lot of beautiful historical buildings and that is its charm and u should keep it that way. We Asians loveeee European architecture. I havent been to Romania. But from images I have seen online it looks gorgeous

    • @romaniansontheroad
      @romaniansontheroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Indeed, we have our historic buildings but unfortunately the authorities don’t maintain well enough! For a country in Europe, we are too undeveloped! It’s due to the corruption of our post communism governments who did nothing for our country but stealing and ripping it off of all its riches! But our city Oradea for example is changing and things start to look better, still at least 100 years away from what we can consider normal and acceptable! As for Malaysia, we haven’t seen anything except KL in our short trip but we will get back and explore more! And will show it to the world exactly how it is! We are aware that not all the country looks like KL!🥰🙏
