If you live in small settlements, you will always be attacked by other smaller settlements or bandits. Then there the food and recourse problems.
Any other military type settlements is gonna have rules like the CRM which if they're system works I would live there and not complain.

In World Beyond they said CRM had 200,000 people and in The ones who live they said they have 250,000 people. My theory is did they get the 50,000 from Commonwealth, since the population of Commonwealth is 50,000

Well Scott Gimple said that they know about each other. What if CRM doesn't actually have 250,000 people and all the communities they found are just numbers combined. They could have found the Commonwealth during the prison era 😂.
they operate so similarly too each other they both have the interviews before individuals can enter they're groups, and it seems people weren't able to leave the commonwealth once they're were brought in but idk. there is still a lot we dont know so i cant fully rule it out. also i doesn't make sense how the common wealth isn't on the crm radar there has to be some type of correlation.
I am sure CRM should know about many small groups out there including CW. CW was riding in wagons, not a threat - they had a small 'army' but nothing that could be a threat.

My best guess is that, if Rick takes over CRM, Michonne will be like, the head judge or concil like she was in the comics. Fuel resources, helicopters and vehicles will also be given out and supplied to every community large or small that they can find, so like 20 years into the future, youll have the "wastelands" and aircraft will basically make a huge comeback. That would be sick
Also I can imagine in the future, the cities will be advertised to survivors like terminus, maybe even with the same message. They can afford to take the risk of bad apples too based on how much power they have to basically stop it right away
Forget Rick taking over. Beale is not in charge of CRM either, he commands this division. There are other military leaders + CR administration..
CR and CRM plot will not be solved in the ones who live, the show is not about that..

I think getting rid of Omaha was Beale wanting control. I wish we would get more about him. I really don’t feel I know his character at all. That briefing could be reason why Rick wants to go back. I think he may know more once he has the briefing and can make a better choice. After 4th episode it doesn’t look like they are going back and we know what is going to happen next because of trailer. But you never know! They could get pulled into something else.
I remember in March or could April when you did the Video on the 500 Year Plan Video from the Ones Who Live that was Amazing you have did a Great Job Discussion & Theory my favorite Scene from Episode 3 Opening Flashbacks was the French Fries stand I was like wow Jadis having French Fries almost makes me think of Shane and Rick from Season 1 episode Days Gone Bye having Burger and Fries and in Season 9 Episode What Comes After great Scene
I think there is a new big threat . Thorn Attitude Changed as soon as she had the briefing. They probably know what started it .
Don't think their intel goes that far. Maybe.
So far I feel that briefing is basically throwing a lot of calculations, statistics or projections at you in how to save or stabilize mankind and that the CRM is the answer and that without being partly harsh or hostile, it would not be feasible. 500 year plan and so on.
Although it would be nice to have a big crazy thing or information in it that could play a role in other shows or the lore later.
I was thinking maybe they really was working on a cure and was only willing to give it to certain people and then wiping out the rest
I've been sharing my theory everywhere today lol but i'll throw in here too. What if the CRM couldn't find a cure for the virus. What if the best they could do was to create a walker-human hybrid. Essentially, a human with all his/her faculties and consciousness in tact, but they have walker traits (blend in with walkers, walker eyes, hunger for flesh, long lifespan, etc.). And what if the CRM sees this as a necessary evolutionary step for humanity. What if they felt they needed to hybridize the world in order to save it? And it would take 500 years to spread this treatment to the rest of the world. They might have mapped out several communities in the US with the hopes of dropping treatment bombs on those populations.
An added twist would be if Heath was one of the few successful hybrids tucked away in an ultra secure facility for scientific observation.

Honestly, knowing how big the crm is, it makes me feel way different when watching the older seasons, when Rick was on top and we all thought he was the one who was gonna bring the world together, especially because that’s what happens in the books, since they literally made a statue in his honor. But to know that he was nothing but a speck in the grand scheme of the crm is just crazy to me. All that work he did to bring the communities together would’ve likely been for nothing if he never got taken away. The crm would’ve found them eventually and wiped them off the map.

I kind thought of a fanfic idea for twd called the government in exile which follows the united states government in exile trying to maintain itself in des Moines iowa. Within the first months of the outbreak.
It manages to evacuate 2.2 million people in iowa many come from Chicago and the chicago area.
They have to deal with desertion, raiders, looters, criminals, food and water storages, agriculture production, and housing.
Law and order break down as mass executions happen to cope with the number of criminals.
They eventually do a mass migration to the south when spring comes. Moving into mexico.

Well I think the last episode of ones who live is out now. I haven't watched it or a reaction to it yet but I fear this is what they may have gone for.
I am pretty sure this is where the coin toss will fall or go to.
Bummer, because it would've been cooler or more complex if Rick took his roles and access in CRM to try to change it. Instead I believe after having seen EP 5 that they will try to get rid of Jadi's evidence and then either bug out (ok, I get it, what they kinda wanna do eventually to see their kids) or worse yet think to stick it to the whole CRM and mess with that important meeting where all leadership will be, likely by luring some horde there or attacking them from within directly. That would be a bit silly to me given the size of the CRM meaning you can hardly f*ck with it with two people even if all their leadership comes into one place, imagine the security there. They'd make sure no random hordes would be a threat nearby, I'm certain.
But maybe I get to be pleasantly surprised and the ending will be more nuanced instead of, well, "cheap and expectable".
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's what we fucking got.

It's ironically both what I hoped wouldn't happen and hoped would happen at the same time, combined, creating an acceptable ending for me.

it does seem so - to attack or integrate Portland - but a possible larger idea - why so far away from CRP (Philly)? Is Beale thinking of wiping out Civic Republic and the council and restarting on the West Coast?

What if the Echelon plan discusses the variant walkers? 500 year plan might be to remove a variant that can survive 500 or more years. Perhaps mummified?
Or it could be to live 500 years, that's kind of my theory because the zombies don't really die. What if they think they have found the secret to longevity? That's my theory, keep a low population new world order kind of thing because the world would get overpopulated quickly if we could live 500 years.
I liked all of the Flashbacks Moment from The Walking Dead Show ehen Rick and Major General Jonathan Beale was Talking in the Debriefing Room We saw Shane in Season 2 Hershel Greene's Fatm I remember the ginal part in the Flashbacks I rewatched episode 6 It was the Train of the Commonwealth for OutPost 22 with the Commonwealth Jeep great Flashbacks
Watching this made me think of another plan. What’s CRMs death plan in the city and military. Wonder how they prevent a Walker outbreak with that many people living there. We saw how commonwealth handles it as far as the elderly go I think.

I wish they would’ve shown South La being bombed In FTWD by Okaphor in the beginning of that show bc it showed the beginning of the fall, and the. Just left it a mystery until now. Like a bigger morales type deal, I feel like that would’ve made ftwd better..
I still think Rick is gonna be a big part in a cure not The CURE just a opening because we can’t forget he was out I think a couple weeks of not a month before the outbreak and the doctor was injecting him/taking care of him, so I think that’s why his so important to the cam first people to be like that untill everyone finds out about that kid in daryls spin off

I can’t even imagine how powerful the CRM is(for crying out loud. They can maintain Apache Chinook and Blackhawk helicopters. Do you know how hard it is to maintain and feel them they even have their own manufacturing of fuel) it’s clear the powers are growing and I won’t be surprised if they have projects on working to get AC 130 gun ships and maybe even feather jets(or perhaps forces with those exist in other parts of America) after the comic books are western alliance was mentioned

I would say Silas is about the only option - depending on what the echelon briefing is.

There around 500 thousand people right I’m pretty sure Rick said this in the letter to michone I think the city Rick’s and Michone are at had around 200-250 thousand people and Omaha and the other city made up for the other 250 and they were getting to big so they knocked one city back just incasw those 2 other city’s wanted to try and take over
Think about the Romans. From a Republic to an Empire, no one has ever ruled the known world longer. So in a general and unsaid sense, that could be seen as a long term plan.
The gas is still one of the biggest fallacies I've seen on TWD, the fact that after even just 1-2years most gas would be basically varnish, and would not have any use, yet they find cars still that crank right up and run. CRM having oil resources and refineries make much more sense but how the hell is all the other gas still working after years? Lol gasoline doesn't work that way, even the best stabilizer additives wouldn't buy that much time.

I think I thought it was mentioned in world beyond because Jadis said dewstroying Omaha will ensure their success for centuries to come
I expect there would be a plan for repopulation at a certain rate, but notice I never saw any babies in the CRC so I expect the military would potentially want some form of eugenics saying they can only afford for the best humans to continue on with civilization. Likely a caste system similar to how they already operate where the military runs things and the civilians do the works and labor. In a world with walker, threats, and no outside information the military could say they are needed in order to keep everyone safe. Propaganda plan for getting people to join. I expect some huge promises of what the future can bring and Thorne may be blown away because of the idea of trade with other countries being available as she was not from the US if I remember right.
Or AMC could of been too cheap to show babies onscreen at the CRC 😅

I think jadis is lying to rick about her crm connection. In world beyond we saw that jadis was a member of crm before twd season8-9 According to dialogs between she and jennifer.also Almost every high-ranking personal of crm knows about jadis from before. as i remember. but she said that to rick crm have agreement with me they give me supply and i give them people bla bla. Am i missing somewhere ?
she was not part of CRM before - it is confusing, the timelines of all of it. Hard to explain also haha
