Thank you Mr Henry, with it looking good on back end i have just took engine out today painting chassis underneath,also i think engine needs a crankshaft seal as there is a lot of oil underneath engine but will clean tomorrow to check,

some times machines can be so aggravating but after a time we can over come , it looks like you have it whipped.

How's she goin'? That chain tensioner looks like it's doing it's job now Nev. Nice job redoing that. It amazes me that they make these machines so hard to work on. Not much engineering here eh!! You're getting this fixed up and it'll be nice when you finish. Take 'er easy!!!
I agree with that Mike they are hard little machines to work on, no easy way of removing or fitting part , or it could just be me Lol, see I can't leave the machine alone now took engine out to paint the front part of the chassis, Thank you for watching and the comment 👍

The belt from the engine drives the transmission then the chain drives the rear axle thanks for watching and for the comment 👍

I have the same mower also with a loose chain, but my tension arms are moving up & down, I wanted to know what is holding the two tensions in place is there any spring used. or just the one nut.
Hi Brian, it's held on with a bolt through the frame, then through a high tension spring that rocks on the chain

Hi Mark, now i got decals and sticker for my honda 2213 i did up, from a guy off ebay seller name is wicked.graphics, just checked he away till 19th March but if you email him he does other decals if he has the templates hope this is a help.

HI, finally someone with the same lawn mower as me. Perhaps you can help me. WHen i got it 2 weeks ago, my chain came of the chain tensioner and i can't figure out how it is installed. In comparing with the one you have, mine is backwards positioned with a drilled whole, why, don't know, not familiar with. I broke the two plastic wheels on it and ordered new ones, tried to install it as yours but my chain doesn't tighten up, it still loose, hanging on the big wheel (quite a bit) and the tensioner is not as open as yours. what am i doing wrong? could you mayb emake a video of it in detail or provide pictures please? thanks!

Yes all is the same, it only seems that my chain is too long, however, if i count and look it up, it should have 50 shackles or how to pronounce in english. Yours seems to be more tightened
@Nielske10 I won't mind. I just had the tensionor off my honda hf2213 as I have had to do a repair to the transmission, I took all tensionor off put chain back on the big sprocket and the small sprocket on the transmission, then I put tensioner back on and pulled it apart so the chain lies in the middle of the adjuster
@Nielske10 the new chain I fitted had 100 rolls plus the joining link
