Despite the legends, chances of you finding gold in the Superstitions is slim to none. The only gold that Im aware of that ever came out of the Superstitions was discovered and was economical to mine because of the copper vein/deposit it was found with. Of course, its kind of a buzzkill to enlighten people on the true story behind the Lost Dutchman but I am a historian so...if you find any ore worth mining, maybe you found Waltz's stash and that could be worthwhile...
You guys were just killing it this weekend ! Nice gold ! You said you got a new coil for Gold Bug, but can't tell in video whether it's a 10" or 6" ? I have GB2 with a 10" and have been thinking of getting a 6 just. Keep on digging ! Great video ! 🤠⛏⚒👍

I was thinking of coming to Arizona this year and do some prospecting but I need a guide of where to go. Every year I normally go to Colorado. I Always get more black sand then gold and it’s getting frustrating. I would love to go out with the both of you to your claim and do some prospecting.
You two really rock! My wife and I would like to prospect like this as well - if we were to take an RV vacation out in Arizona, what areas could we legally metal detect for gold like this? Thanks!
Thanks! We go into extremely remote areas to access gold like this. Best thing you should do is join a prospecting club that has mining leases you can go on legally.
If I were an experienced prospector how much gold could I expect to find per day on average? (Trying to ascertain how profitable detecting can be as gold prices go up), (Nevada/Arizona based).
