  • Thinking of picking up one of these cases? Stop thinking and get it. There, just saved you from watching the video. But seriously, it's something I now wish I bought one YEARS earlier. I've been beating it up and putting it through it's paces over the last year with tons of shoots, lots of flights and more than one car trunk.
On a typical shoot, I'm able to easily fit the following into my 6300: a full-size tripod with head, a monopod with head, 2-3 light stands, mini boom arm, LED light, XLR cables and lots of smaller odds & ends that don't mind taking a knocking.
Links to the products mentioned (all affiliate links - at no cost to you I'll get a small commission if you purchase something):
HPRC 6300 (with interior kit - the one featured in this video): amzn.to/2zs0oCQ
HPRC 6400 (just a little longer than the 6300): amzn.to/2AeBM0I
HPRC 6500 (the longest one offered): amzn.to/2SWfEig
Luggage Scale (the one I own & love): amzn.to/2WKfiMR
[While I use these for video production gear, naturally you can use it for anything that's long and won't easily fit in regular luggage]

UPDATE: I spoke to HPRC, and the holes mentioned at 2:25 are for a shoulder strap to help carry the case. One of the straps secures there, and the other end of the strap attaches on the other side.

Hey man - sorry to hear that! Out of curiosity, I pulled up the case on B&H to see if there are recent bad reviews, but didn't see any -- maybe you got a defective unit?
I know they have since switched the coloring from red to teal -- is that the one you got?

@@ChrisBryantVideo I hope not bc that's the one I just got lol Btw, you should be removing your pan handle on your tripod, especially since you have other stuff packed in there.

@@dh1163 Depending on how tight I have it packed, I do. Otherwise, I've been folding it down against the tripod body and it's been okay. The great thing about the size of this case is that unless you're putting sand bags in, it's hard to go over the 50lbs airline weight limit with it.
      Enjoy the case!
