This is very😢
I help feed my husband...cutting his food smaller, he wears a bib...I make sure his mouth is empty of food before he drinks...the things we take for granted when we are still healthy...I am grateful, he doesn't get mad with me when I help him...from wiping his mouth and hands...to brushing his teeth (flossing)...I also shave him now...he does wear a diaper as he has had problems with toiletting...he allows me with no complaints in cleaning him...he did say, the other day that a woman (HCA) cleaned him and he did not like it...that was the first time ever...I have been helping him with dressing, personal care for 4 yrs...before I knew, his diagnosis...he refused to see a Specialist...finally diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer...
Great information Thanks for Sharing
My pleasure
With a wife at stage 6 on the FAST Scale, and living in England, I ahve found no medical staff offering this invaluable information. For me to best care for my wife, I need to be educated continuously as her condition progresses. In the UK as a whole, there are 1 million people with Dementia and each one will have a corresponding care-giver who did not know that they were going to become a care-giver. Education is the key and thank you.
You are so welcome.
Great information and tips
Glad it was helpful!
we buy our friend watches. Beads. Blanket with texture, jewelry, jewelry box watch box. He loves organizing things, he’ll straighten his bed out, and he loves flushing the toilet. He loves watching the water disappear.
This was a FABULOUS video, THANK YOU
Excellent. Thank you!
Your information is priceless. Thank you. The best i have found on U Tube and i have been searching for a while. I love that you to the point. Mu mom has vascular dementia and i take care of her. Thank you so very much.
Another presentation filled with a lot of information and support for caregivers. It is much appreciated.
sorry for commenting again....wiping tears with the sweet women interacting...I do this with my husband with old Christian songs...it makes him happy and we cry together...I keep holding him...his hands, his face, caress his arms and shoulders...perhaps it is instinctive with me but it really brings comfort to my husband...I love the video during that therapy, WOW...I can so relate...my husband and I have such Faith in God and he told me one morning...God asked him, if he was ready to come home...He responded, Yes and we both cried...our Faith sustains us and we are not afraid!
The same my husband is becoming a sad former of his self eating is slow clearing plate but so slow I look at him and and pray God will take him home soon it’s what he wants I’m crying for him when I’m typing this
How do you deal with does a better word a mean person with dementia at this point I am not the caregiver but I am the POA and in another state I realized I'm in a difficult situation
I've come to understand that fear.
It's the worst anime of a caregiver.
Fear of the unknown fear I won't know what to do. So it's watching these videos. I've had a complete change of attitude.
We're so glad our video are helping you.
The same here.
I hope we All receive this love, understanding & respect shared here...I just wish WE All did not have to wait until a crisis and/or end of life stages. Invaluable info...THANK YOU so much for your Love & Loyality to Humanity!❤ Love ❤ Lisa
Well said
Videos like this are a godsend
This has been very informative. I lament this dreadful disease. Throughout the video I heard an intermittent sound as of a person making a garbled sound.😢❤
Wow, my mom is starting late stages of Dementia.😢
Strongs dear.
Thank you so much!#
I was told that I have FTLD and my daughter will be my caregiver but she's not ready for the information yet! I'm At the beginning but I'll soon move on . Should I just save everything I have for Her to catch up?
Thank you ❣
Great information. One request is to mute all attendees through the talk so it doesn’t make strange sounds and make it hard to hear you. I really get a lot of good information from your videos.
Thanks for the tip!
The ending is the most precious as the lady reached the lady with dementia and she began to sing- totally a God thing! Powerful!❤🙏🎶
Very powerful indeed.
Great information, I’ve got a lot to learn.
Thank you.❤😅
Thank you. There is so much I wish I had know earlier. But I know now. Thank you
One traditional classic formula could give biological energy to brain let recovery eventually no any side effects
