This was cinematic perfection. Not only the timing at the end but also Arthur literally looking at Dave's direction after the success. What an amazing stream guys!
I'm so glad rob didn't allow the 1st hog tie train run over, even though Ash, Rosie and Dave are adamant they did it they definitely didn't. The 1st man didn't once touch the tracks while alive, Dave threw the man at the train that wasn't what the challenge said to do. Glad they managed to do it right in the end though!
There is nothing cringey about admitting that a source of entertainment is helping you get through your depression. Things speak to us in many forms be it through music, movies, stories or the ever brilliant PlayStation Access team. Keep fighting dude, I truly hope one day you find peace with yourself and the world you live in.
Sounds like it's a song he legitimately recorded and simply played on his phone, and Rob just playbacked along with it because he knew the lyrics. They probably put the same music file in sync in post-production so the song sounds more crisp in the final video than straight from his phone.
"What we want is just like a man having a walk, he's not even on a horse, he's having a walk and also he's a big coward. And he gets shot in the hat, and he goes 'I.. don't need this today' he just turns around and walks off." For some reason that really got a laugh out of me 😂😂😂
My favorite part of this year's Christmas Maze so far is this insanely clutch ending! Excellent work everyone! I honestly cannot believe that amazing luck with the train timing omg....
Absolutely brilliant. What entertainment that was. Go Dave with his SPLIT SECOND TIMING!!! Honestly even five feet away further up the track and the train wouldn’t have made it. So proud of you, Dave!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
That was absolutely insane. I was urging Dave to keep moving as I thought every second you make up by trekking down the track could just make the difference but wow! To be down to literally the last second, incredible.
Hah, Secretary-General "Happy Chaos" Ashenbourne and her casual digital murder inclinations 🤣 Seriously though, what a Photo Finish!! Well done, challengers. 👏🏻
For anyone curious about the reason barber poles are like that here it is. The bloody bandages associated with bloodletting inspired the red and white stripes, while the barber pole itself symbolises an instrument people gripped onto during the procedure to encourage blood flow. Barbers would place the barber pole outside their barbershop, to let customers know they were open for business.
Just to add to this for those confused, barbers were also often surgeons, so the bloody bandages were a representation of the surgical services rather than them just being somewhat haphazard with a straight razor!
The team that creates these challenges is brilliant, entertaining, and funny. And Rob plays his part like a maestro. I just wish we could get some Horizon content in these. It is my favorite game series. I appreciate everyone’s efforts in putting this series together. A true joy for your subscribers.
I laughed out so loud at 10:36 I literally had my neighours shout out at me to shut up. That was well worth it. Thank you very much Dave. I can't believe that you're still going at it with the poor horses. XD
They didn't exactly help themselves with the time with Ash running around in the wilderness without a horse, but there's no doubt that was a very dramatic final few seconds!
What an incredible finish! Up there with the Crash Bandicoot challenge for most dramatic Christmas Maze moment! Also, Ash's challenge kept reminding me of that Simpsons episode where Police Chief Wiggum said 'the suspect is hatless, repeat hatless!'.
That was an amazing ending rite on the last second they couldnt of got any closer if they wanted too well done guys keep it i wait all year just for the christmas maze such fun
I love how it never occurred to any of them that the train is the limiting factor in that last challenge. Should have just jumped on the train and got a guy in front of it once it stopped.
True meaning of Christmas displayed in this episode. The scrooge esque Robert S Pearson not giving the kill when he through him into the train. Then the sheer joy when they achieved with 1 second to go.
I’ve got to say that the activities outside of the games this year have been amazing, in particular Dave’s musical talents and the drawing on their backs one (so far). Well done to all the team. Plus the Crypt of the Necrodancer has convinced me to pick that back up again on the vita and now I’m hooked 🙈
In the Oxford English Dictionary, next to "Photo Finish" you'll see a picture from now on of that last possible second at 1:06:49. Unbelievable finish, well done!
Anyone else feel their stress levels rising, watching them try to complete these challenges? Especially when one of them doesn't do something right...I find myself getting stressed and my anxiety quickly rising. 😂
Never have I seen such sheer joy being expressed after a man has been run over by a train. This is what Christmas is all about.
lmao 🤣
Goodness me 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, that Dave managed to have a horse related accident mere minutes into this challenge is so predictably hilarious 😂
That timing of Dave’s final challenge was utterly perfect, that’s up there with Rosie completing the Crash level with the final life for sure!
How is this real life? Amazing finish!
The ending couldn't have been better if it was writen lol
I absolutely love that “Im aware of the situation” is a thing now.
What an ending. Well done!
Dave would have let the hogtied man go, but rather ironically, his hands were tied
One of the best episodes of all Christmas mazes! Absolutely incredible finish!
Dan's framing of the pass the parcel sections with Robert S. Pearson in the foreground was just an exquisitely artsy touch!
This was cinematic perfection. Not only the timing at the end but also Arthur literally looking at Dave's direction after the success. What an amazing stream guys!

52:49 The pure joy of Ash saying "KILL HIM!!!!!!" 😂
1:07:14
Not to sound cringey or whatever but this series & you guys are doing wonders for helping my fight against depression. Good job, my dudes
Not cringey at all.
Whatever it takes to get you out of that pit.
Best wishes my man.

Keep fighting dude, I truly hope one day you find peace with yourself and the world you live in.
Hope you get out of it , but I'm so happy this is helping
So glad to hear this! It means the world to know people are enjoying the series. All the very best to you from the whole team ❤️
Rosie 'taking care of the witnesses' in the carriage made me laugh so hard I almost choked on my coffee
BUZZER BEATER! Insane how that played out. Dave in the clutch!
I just want to know how Robert S Pearson sang that song in perfect sync with his voice over 😂
He played it on his phone I’d assume they just dubbed it over
Sounds like it's a song he legitimately recorded and simply played on his phone, and Rob just playbacked along with it because he knew the lyrics. They probably put the same music file in sync in post-production so the song sounds more crisp in the final video than straight from his phone.
This was actually truly amazing. What a show!
"What we want is just like a man having a walk, he's not even on a horse, he's having a walk and also he's a big coward. And he gets shot in the hat, and he goes 'I.. don't need this today' he just turns around and walks off."
For some reason that really got a laugh out of me 😂😂😂
Dave's humour is genius imo.
"Shot in the hat" had me rolling.
10:23 "Oh Neighomi no.. not like this" - Dave. Had me laughing for a while. 😆
That ending rivals the hot pepper Stormy Ascent challenge from 2019. Amazing finish!
I don’t know how it happens, but it seems every year they have finishes like this. What a great finish to a great episode. ONE SECOND LEFT!!!
One of the best episodes ever, guys I highly recommend playing the ending in .25 speed it's hilarious and epic. I'm in tears. Love you access team!!
How!? Just....how!? That was amazing! Well done all involved!
What a finish! Pure perfection! Couldn't have timed that better!
This song is right from the bowels of Hell itself.
*Best content around.*
Timing of the final challenge is just incredible.
I regularly come back here just for the 30:38 moment. It brightens my day 😂
My favorite part of this year's Christmas Maze so far is this insanely clutch ending! Excellent work everyone! I honestly cannot believe that amazing luck with the train timing omg....
these have been allot of fun to watch, can we have one of those marathon videos of Robert S Pearson singing about himself :D
You could not have planned for that ending! That was incredible!
That was the most unbelievably close thing I've ever seen lol
like literally a second, a few steps of a difference made it
Hah, Secretary-General "Happy Chaos" Ashenbourne and her casual digital murder inclinations 🤣
Seriously though, what a Photo Finish!! Well done, challengers. 👏🏻
That was insane! 😆 Thank you for doing this every year!
That ending is so perfect no script could ever come close. What a spectacle, what DRAMA! Even Robert S. Pearson cannot be mad losing to that.
For anyone curious about the reason barber poles are like that here it is. @@HMJ66 i heard it was something to do with teeth pulling as that was as sophisticated as dentistry was back then haha
This season of the Christmas Maze has been the best season so far. Absolutely fantastic
Best comedy TV over Christmas was the incident of the hogtied man and an elusive train! Hilarious (and thrilling!)
The end was so dramatic, I love it 😂
What an amazing finale!!! They couldn't have planned that if they tried. Loved it.
The team that creates these challenges is brilliant, entertaining, and funny. And Rob plays his part like a maestro.
I just wish we could get some Horizon content in these. It is my favorite game series.
I appreciate everyone’s efforts in putting this series together. A true joy for your subscribers.
Really love how these challenges went from simple and calm to crazy and chaotic. Btw this is making me want to play RDR2 again.
I laughed out so loud at 10:36 I literally had my neighours shout out at me to shut up. That was well worth it. Thank you very much Dave. I can't believe that you're still going at it with the poor horses. XD
1:06:26 “My God there is!” The content gods love this channel as we do! That ending was phenomenal!
They didn't exactly help themselves with the time with Ash running around in the wilderness without a horse, but there's no doubt that was a very dramatic final few seconds!
But that is just the Ash way. She would loot everything in a speedrun event lol. Tbf I do the same thing. I get easily side tracked.
TBF all of Team Access were trying their level best to sabotage themselves!
Christmas Maze 2022: I'm aware of the situation
What an incredible finish! Up there with the Crash Bandicoot challenge for most dramatic Christmas Maze moment!
Also, Ash's challenge kept reminding me of that Simpsons episode where Police Chief Wiggum said 'the suspect is hatless, repeat hatless!'.
That was so clutch haha
The smile on Robert’s face at the first ‘hat’ attempt is one of my favorite moments of the series.
Edit: omg the ending!!
LOL the part where Dave flips the horse and RSP says ahh he's at it again... hilarious.
That was an amazing ending rite on the last second they couldnt of got any closer if they wanted too well done guys keep it i wait all year just for the christmas maze such fun
These Christmas Maze's are such a fun and cool idea, I love you guys!
I love how it never occurred to any of them that the train is the limiting factor in that last challenge. Should have just jumped on the train and got a guy in front of it once it stopped.
"The Whistler" coming at you from over the hill is a terrifying concept.
True meaning of Christmas displayed in this episode. The scrooge esque Robert S Pearson not giving the kill when he through him into the train. Then the sheer joy when they achieved with 1 second to go.
What a amazing eding for this challenge. The timing was perfecct, so much tention !!
The out of context version of this is just that last shot of the man being ran over followed by rapturous cheers.
You could not have written that! A 10 second countdown perfectly in line with the train crushing that man's bones! 🤣
What more can be said about the ending than has already been said, absolute perfection Dave!
I need to download that Robert S Pearson song! Now! 😂
That train came in for the clutch!
That train was the MVP
I appreciate Dan having fun with those artistic shots. Hi Dan!!
1:06:47 Dave glancing between the clock and the train. Brilliant finish, what a moment!
Absolutely amazing episode! I cheered out loud!!! So freaking good!!!
I honestly thought they guy was gonna stand up before the train hit
“We’re all animals.”
So true, ash. So true.
Oh my days! Couldn’t have written it better - its been a fantastic series as usual!
What I want to see in the new year is Rob, completing a game, not for laughs seriously. I don't care how long it takes I'd love to see it
That timing at the end was ridiculous!
Dave's reaction to the song at 52:08 is priceless. XD
I love that original royalty free RSP music
I’ve got to say that the activities outside of the games this year have been amazing, in particular Dave’s musical talents and the drawing on their backs one (so far). Well done to all the team. Plus the Crypt of the Necrodancer has convinced me to pick that back up again on the vita and now I’m hooked 🙈
The Christmas Mazes are my favorite PlayStation Access videos of the year!
That ending!! That train couldn't have been more perfectly timed!😂
1:06:55 Arthur looking at Dave like: "What all do you make me do!!"
1 second!? ONE?? If I thought it were possible to rig the thing, I would swear it was!
That finish was absolutely incredible haha, man i love this series.
What an amazing episode, great job challengers!!
The train just made a buzzer beater! I was counting down with ash and rosie. Well done!
Omg that ending! Robert S. Pearson was closer to victory than any villain ever.
That was amazing! 😮 I almost cried with amazement at the 3,2,1 - epic ending! 😆 👏🏽
I cry-laughed at "more robust than a fox!"
oh my god the finish! also fantastic song Robert S Pearson 😂
In the Oxford English Dictionary, next to "Photo Finish" you'll see a picture from now on of that last possible second at 1:06:49. Unbelievable finish, well done!
That was so intense! Loving the Christmas Maze so much! 😄
Thats a great finish with only 1 second left! Unbelieveable!!
Between the RSP song and that ending, this was an all-timer.
Best episode of the Christmas maze ever!!! 🙌🏽
They know Ash so well lol. She's such a wild card. Ash "Harley Quinn" Millman chaotic good specialist
Not just England Ash, they used to eat mummy all over Europe, places like Germany as well
I CANT BELIEVE IT! The buzzer beaters of all buzzer beaters!!! 1 second left!!!
Anyone else feel their stress levels rising, watching them try to complete these challenges? Especially when one of them doesn't do something right...I find myself getting stressed and my anxiety quickly rising. 😂
That was amazingggg! Last second 😂🎉
39:10 that was a glorious unintentional trick shot with the head and lantern!
They say timing is everything and boy did this prove it.
Imagine the sheer amount of time Robert S. Pearson spent packing all that stuff in the parcel! 🤗 😄
