When you realize Jimin was nervous cuz he was performing solo without the boys and it was just an encore and his in-ear piece wasn't working but he performed fine and had stable vocals when the inear was working, he was with more people and wasn't as nervous 1 encore will not change anything, jimin can sing

Jimin's other encore was bad as well. not as bad as the first one, but still obviously bad.

I think Jimin is really talented but that hasn’t always been the common consensus. He’s been thought of as a bad singer by haters for years. All it takes is one google search to see all of the backlash he’s received for his vocals over the years

Let's be real. These people are literal musicians, and while their job is also to look pretty and dance well, it's ridiculous for artists to sing their own song off-key. If it's just once or twice then who cares, but a lot of idols REPEATEDLY sing off-key or with an unstable voice. If they aren't capable of singing their own song well, then I think it's up to the agencies to train them better or choose someone more capable/well-rounded.
They train for such a long period but don’t improve much and they lack technique. I don’t think the companies care about vocals anymore, they just want the idols to look good and dance pretty. It’s sad because in some ways, the companies are setting them up to fail by not giving them proper training and autotuning them all the time.

However, I think that training does improve skill and technique when given the proper resources and also when the trainee has a positive mindset. Just look at some trainees on survival shows or even how far BABY MONS7ER and XG have improved compared to when they started training.

Coming from a classically trained Musician here, Most of the idols mentioned here aren't typically 'Bad Singers' they might have the vocal quality but they are lacking in technique.All of these idols fully relay on nasal voice which might be unstable and requires a lot of breath control as well.What should be done is to get vocal training.They help you to channel you're chest voice and head voice (which is what a lot of singers use) and falsettos.Each singer's style is quite unique and versatile to them and they should find the right technique to fuel it Hope this helps anybody who are aspiring singers or just needed a justification for the video Good day :)

I'm confused, because there is an article that lists the 100 best K-pop vocalists, and Jimin is at number 1 and Kyuhyun (Super Junior) is at number 100. How can Kyuhyun be in that position? Meanwhile, as far as I know, Kyuhyun is the only K-pop idol who has an 'S' class vocal tier. I think it was beacuse cube debuted shuhua early while she still need more training at that time, but now she really improved throughout the years and theyve been using her real voice color and tone in their songs thats why somewhat she can sing it live confidently.

Now that I've been ARMY for a few years, I've started to agree with the one about Jimin more. He gets a lot of vocal praise because he has such a unique sound to his voice, but sometimes it feels like his technique is lacking. Maybe he's more unstable in some parts of his range and not others but I feel like sometimes he sounds like he's straining himself or singing unnecessarily nasally.
@@lea5308 I do like Jimin's voice and it's been a while since I've listened to BTS live- I went to one of their concerts in 2019 and haven't been up to date with many of the live performances since even though I still listen to their music. I do have to agree sometimes I do feel he strains on some songs, and that could be due to the song either being out of his range or improper technique as you've mentioned, because his throat shouldn't be losing his voice completely through a couple performances as the could be concerning for his voice over time.
That doesn't mean he CANT SING. You are not an army if you're giving leeway for people to hate on Jimin. This video isn't for constructive criticism, its hate and you are supporting it.

a vocal trainer is not a miracle worker. im sure they’ve done their best, but if they’re not gifted vocally (or worse tone deaf) there’s nothing much they can do. ofc there are great singers out there who started out unskilled prior to vocal lessons but it’s already there, just wanting to come out

If your idol sucks at live singing its ok. Just dont defend them for bein ass at what they have been training to do for years. That counts for any type of proffesion. I am a martial artist, and sometimes i see people training for years and they still suck. The coach teases them and tells them its time to improve a lil, and that actually helps.

So am new to kpop I joined after going to Hyde park where blackpink performed I came across this video I immediately searched jimin bad vocals here on yt instead of me believing trends and I saw 3 videos of him 1 with charlie puth his voice was really bad 2 the encore video they sang ON song and 3 this like crazy encore those are the video every creator use to make fun of him I check more and didn’t find any I searched for jimin good vocals from 2013 till now even thier live recording in studio and so many jimin got this beautiful and angelic voice that no one in kpop have am going to appreciate that

You know the worst part??? Jimin wasn't always this bad...he was actually a decent singer around 4-5 years ago. Now look at this mess. This is what happens when you sing with insufficient or unhealthy technique, hybe prioritised "aesthetic/vocal tone" over proper vocal coaching, they keep giving him parts out of his range constantly instead of properly equipping him first. It lead to his vocal chords getting permanently damaged. Now what he needs is to not sing AT ALL, and TAKE REST. Maybe consult a therapist and take care of his throat cuz this can be more dangerous than just "bad singing"....the same shit happens to so many vocalists and not only in kpop. What is the matter of number of years in which kpop idol is in the kpop industry when none of the previous companies provided her with vocal lessons. Mnet never provided his groups with any vocal training or any other. Proof? Chaewon, who had to learn to dance all over again, because despite being a member of the group, she did not improve her skills for several months. Sakura, who also started her training again, and we see her improvement only in Le Sserafim. Somi, who just learned to dance different in YG. Even looking at Kep1er, the whole group stands still with skills. Nothing has changed since survival. The only thing they can count on are language lessons. Although the members help each other in this aspect

I'm an army and i have to agree that jimin is an unstable vocalist. I would love to hear his vocals in songs and he did well in many performances,Concerts too but he actually has difficulty while singing. This doesnt stop me from loving him but he needs to inprove his vocals🤷

I’m pretty sure people wouldn’t care anyways since most “fans” consider visual over talent. Plus, to be honest the nets were right in some ways, since if an Idol cant even do their job, then yes, but other times, if the choreo is hard and tiring then there should be an exception. Let's be real. These people are literal musicians, and while their job is also to look pretty and dance well, it's ridiculous for artists to sing their own song off-key. If it's just once or twice then who cares, but a lot of idols REPEATEDLY sing off-key or with an unstable voice. If they aren't capable of singing their own song well, then I think it's up to the agencies to train them better or choose someone more capable/well-rounded.
They train for such a long period but don’t improve much and they lack technique. I don’t think the companies care about vocals anymore, they just want the idols to look good and dance pretty. It’s sad because in some ways, the companies are setting them up to fail by not giving them proper training and autotuning them all the time.

Coming from a classically trained Musician here, Most of the idols mentioned here aren't typically 'Bad Singers' they might have the vocal quality but they are lacking in technique.All of these idols fully relay on nasal voice which might be unstable and requires a lot of breath control as well.What should be done is to get vocal training.They help you to channel you're chest voice and head voice (which is what a lot of singers use) and falsettos.Each singer's style is quite unique and versatile to them and they should find the right technique to fuel it

I think it was beacuse cube debuted shuhua early while she still need more training at that time, but now she really improved throughout the years and theyve been using her real voice color and tone in their songs thats why somewhat she can sing it live confidently.

Now that I've been ARMY for a few years, I've started to agree with the one about Jimin more. He gets a lot of vocal praise because he has such a unique sound to his voice, but sometimes it feels like his technique is lacking. Maybe he's more unstable in some parts of his range and not others but I feel like sometimes he sounds like he's straining himself or singing unnecessarily nasally.
His technique is definitely lacking!
He has talked about it before, after performance his throat usually hurts and it’s hard for him to even talk.
@@lea5308 I do like Jimin's voice and it's been a while since I've listened to BTS live- I went to one of their concerts in 2019 and haven't been up to date with many of the live performances since even though I still listen to their music. I do have to agree sometimes I do feel he strains on some songs, and that could be due to the song either being out of his range or improper technique as you've mentioned, because his throat shouldn't be losing his voice completely through a couple performances as the could be concerning for his voice over time.
That doesn't mean he CANT SING. You are not an army if you're giving leeway for people to hate on Jimin. This video isn't for constructive criticism, its hate and you are supporting it.

I am a martial artist, and sometimes i see people training for years and they still suck. The coach teases them and tells them its time to improve a lil, and that actually helps.

So am new to kpop I joined after going to Hyde park where blackpink performed I came across this video I immediately searched jimin bad vocals here on yt instead of me believing trends and I saw 3 videos of him 1 with charlie puth his voice was really bad 2 the encore video they sang ON song and 3 this like crazy encore those are the video every creator use to make fun of him I check more and didn’t find any I searched for jimin good vocals from 2013 till now even thier live recording in studio and so many jimin got this beautiful and angelic voice that no one in kpop have am going to appreciate that

You know the worst part??? Jimin wasn't always this bad...he was actually a decent singer around 4-5 years ago. Now look at this mess. This is what happens when you sing with insufficient or unhealthy technique, hybe prioritised "aesthetic/vocal tone" over proper vocal coaching, they keep giving him parts out of his range constantly instead of properly equipping him first. It lead to his vocal chords getting permanently damaged. Now what he needs is to not sing AT ALL, and TAKE REST. Maybe consult a therapist and take care of his throat cuz this can be more dangerous than just "bad singing"....the same shit happens to so many vocalists and not only in kpop. People love to give crap to Rose for singing in a 'fake' voice, but atleast she has somewhat a grasp of her limit, as we can see her vocals haven't been severely damaged even after all these years... What is the matter of number of years in which kpop idol is in the kpop industry when none of the previous companies provided her with vocal lessons. Mnet never provided his groups with any vocal training or any other. Proof? Chaewon, who had to learn to dance all over again, because despite being a member of the group, she did not improve her skills for several months. Sakura, who also started her training again, and we see her improvement only in Le Sserafim. Somi, who just learned to dance different in YG.
Even looking at Kep1er, the whole group stands still with skills. Nothing has changed since survival. The only thing they can count on are language lessons. Although the members help each other in this aspect
