Do you mind if I share/publish the youtube links on a french slot car forum?
Your shows are very inspiring. Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply. You (and all) are very welcome to share/publish the setup videos. Those videos were done with our club track in mind but with a few adjustments (tires mostly), can be used to setup a slotcar for any track.

There are about 100 variables to consider but I would recommend a digital set from Scalextric.

Seemed like a good idea but I was a bit doubtful when you said the oven should be at 250° when Slot.it recommend 100°, which is what I normally do, but I stuck with your advice. It was only after I 'straightened' my chassis that I realised you meant Fahrenheit and not Centigrade! The rear end melted! Should have guessed from your accent. :-( Fortunately I have a spare and can do it again, but, beware guys in Europe!

Nice helpful video but I would advise people not the pour boiling hot water while. Wearing Flipflops as seen the reflexion of the stove's glass door. :)

I have had success using an old circular saw blade and a pie tin with the magnets and boiling water trick . The oven isn't needed - just let it cool down on the counter . Don't ever pour the boiling water directly onto the chassis .

Will this process also stiffen the chassis?

Have you tried it with revoslot aluminium?

I tried this, and my chassis melted beyond recognition. Then i realised that the 250 degrees in the oven maybe was supposed to be Fahhrenheit, and not Celsius :-)
