DATE BLOOPER 🤪 Yup, I am aware that it is in fact still 2024 and I have in no way or form traveled in time 😂 Just a mistake from my side, sorry about that!
Was this ride from back in March 2024 was it? Or was the month wrong as well? Just interesting to know to see how dry it is up in the port hills if it's recent is all
I must say, well done for staying positive through quite trying times and conditions. A hot meal is sometimes just what you need at the end of a cold and wet day.
Thanks, Glenn! When there is really not much to do about the situation, I try not to think too much about how it COULD have been better. Easier said than done some days 😂
I met Will in Christchurch when I went to buy my Honda Grom. He just wandered into the bike shop, introduced himself and was exactly the awsome nice guy you see in the video. I. Glad you enjoyed our south island Runa
Haha that is so cool 😃 Such a nice guy, the moto community is awesome! Loved traveling through the south island, definitely gonna have to go back some day!
@OffSheGoesADV If you come back, dont have a fixed return ticket so you can see some of the awsome places us South Islanders can show you. I the top of the south around my area is some of the most awsome, secret camping spots.
Wow, wow, and just perpetually more wows! Your positivity is always just simply amazing and it resonates within your viewers! You coined your title of this Vlog so comically but it's so representative of this Vlog 😂.. on how Bill attempted the gravels 😂.. and Yes, I affirm, as bikers, taboo to narrate about "rain".. 😉.. Thank you Ma'am for such an epic episode again.. looking forward to your next one and ride safe always.. Just amazing stuff and I'm sure I speak for most, if not ALL of your followers, you put a smile on our face watching your Vlogs... really.. so Thank you..
Thank you for the very kind words, and for putting a smile on my face as well! 😊 What an amazing community this is, with so many fantastic people who share the same passion! It's such a joy to share with you guys! 😊
I lived just below the the start of the Hunsbury track and would often walk to the summit to the place where you stopped looking down into lyttelton harbor. So funny seeing such a familiar area on your video. Really enjoyed every minute of this journey. Thank you so much for sharing ✨🎊
Well Runa as now you are back home and these videos are aa reminder of a holiday adventure , you can sit back and stare out the windows and see what hut us last week. Snow and freezing weather lasted 3 days then a turn around as Storm Bert waded thru and what was snow is now drying roads and warmer temps. Thanks America for sending the Trade Winds our way and your rubbish weather. Ah the joys of being alive and almost end of November. Stay Safe.
This is the last video I'm watching before I take a week break from TH-cam to refocus and shift a thing or two, you could say I saved the best for last :) I look forward to seeing your continued adventures! Take care, and Happy Høsttakkefest!!
Hi Runa, I once created a dirt bike by transplanting a Honda XL350 motor (bored to 420cc) into a 1976 Suzuki RM370 Motocross bike frame and I also broke the crankcase cover in the same manner as Will's little Honda. The chain came off and bunched up beside the small sproket and SNAP, holed the cover! Great episode Runa, shows why riding bikes is just so enjoyable and interesting, loved the small birds. I think we have a new dance, "The Runa Shuffle". Cheers from Australia.🤩😍🤩🦘🦘🦘
Oh no, perhaps it's a more common problem than one would think 😂 Sounds like a cool build though! And chocolate might be the only thing bringing out those dance moves 😂 Cheers mate 😃
Another great video, thank you again for sharing with us all, yes rain sucks but it’s part of it. You’ve always been great to reply to your subscribers but in your last video I had a question or two but never received a response, one question was as a part time tattoo artist I was very curious about what is on your inside of your left arm, I know there’s meaning but again was curious. Your travels in New Zealand are priceless and as always enjoy each. Thanks for sharing, Rob in the U.S.
I'm from Brazil, I had a similar motorcycle, but mine was a Honda Cub 100 97, my little motorcycle was stolen 5 times, and it's true the same motorcycle was stolen 5 times, after that I started riding a cross motorcycle and I no longer had this problem when traveling through Brazil from the south to the north.
I know exactly that smell from the tarmac when it’s starting to rain in the summer, I also enjoy that smell, I don’t know why, maybe it smells summer. What a cute little friend you had on the camping place 🥰
I think so too, that it is because it smells like summer. The only time up north or far down south where the tarmac is actually warm 😂 I can almost sense it just thinking about it!
Yes you said the 'rain' word Runa😂Will is crazy, in a good way😁 Its no fun riding in windy and rainy conditions but the scenery made up for it👌Here in my part of Scotland we had 5 inches of snow on Saturday and by today it was gone, it was 13C overnight!🤣
Hahah precisely 😂 So many good memories from unexpected events like these! And the exact same thing happened here where I live in southern Norway - we got a bunch of snow yesterday and temperatures well below zero, and today it has all rained away and temp spiked to 12! Always expect the unexpected I guess 😂
NZ = 4 seasons in one day. The local riders here in NZ are just as supportive and helpful as any around the world, never be shy to ask locals where the best tracks are. 😎✌
The Norden has no problem with keeping up - the rider however 😂 It was so fun to watch Will tear up the tracks on that little thing hahah! Great times!
Everyone should have a spare bike like that. It has some guts for a little bike resembling a scooter. Oops, 10 bucks, it will be fine. Your video gave me a very peaceful, easy feeling.
Runa the time stamp at the Ashburton camp site gives the wrong year March 2025 😀 While I'm here thank you for your wonderful filming, photogragphy and narrations.
Another fun video of Runa getting up to mischief. It's amazing that your bike got blown over. Wow. Dangerous to ride in those conditions, I know, but you've been lucky up to now eh ?
surprised your buddy doesn't have a little bit bigger bike in amongst all of those cubs and scooters.....yeah, i think i would have tried to find the nearest hotel instead of setting up in the rain, thats my age talking there lol
He does now 😃 He got one of the first, if not THE first CF Moto MT 450 that arrived in New Zealand! Looks like a fun bike, curious to see how popular it's gonna become.
Will seems a great bloke 👍 Those Honda Cubs are fun! Before I got my licence I used to borrow my neighbours and drive around the farm 😊 Is that wet dry wet dry weather typical of the east coast? 🤔...mountains and hills without end - love it! 😊
Will is a great guy, indeed! So happy to have met him, and to be making friends around the globe 😃 The change in weather is more typical for the south island, and in particular south west form my understanding, on the other side of the mountain range that stretches along most of the island!
@@OffSheGoesADV Certainly is in this country. Looking at the 'adventure bikes', they all looked and felt big and heavy. I went for a little farm bike that will do the speed limit but not much more. Can't have the scenery going by too fast.
Hi Runa 👋, wow that was an eventful video, first I couldn't believe one minute scary winds and heavy rain then no wind or rain minutes later, Then the gust of wind to blow over your big bike - I would of cried if that was my bike ( I love my bike 🏍) And after that happened I don't think I would of been riding anywhere in those winds, you are a brave lady and strong to pick up your bike 💪👏, you were eating one of my favourites- dairy milk 😋, Skillful riding by you towing will and his honda 50 back to his house, great scenery again, so many things to comment on, if I did them all you would fall asleep 😴 😂, Take care you special lady, Best wishes from Roy in England 😊👍.
Hi, Roy 😃 Hope you've had a good weekend! I had so much fun editing this episode re-living these very eventful days haha. And I agree, just pure dairy milk chocolate is the best!
