£50 ($64.29--USA) is definitely not even enough money for being the winner in this chilli eating contest. Who is making the money from these yearly events? Sid made £50 in 2015. I'd keep it moving for that small amount of money and find something else to do.
I would love to see hot ones, Jonny Schoville, the UK Chilli Queen, Sid Barber, the American guy Scott, darth Naga and even some of the Clifton Club all do a contest together!

Hi Gingy The Cat, Sid lives in a different part of the UK, some people will travel to other comps we run however as we do go to alot of events it's free for anyone to register for a comp. So we can't force anyone to participate nor pay for any travel expenses etc. It's great to see so many others what and do enter to take up the challenge. Always great fun and the contestants make it.🌶👍😁

No different then when Jensen Ackles (Dean) from Supernatural posts up family pictures and everyone says “Where is Sam?”. When they all know Dean and Sam are fictional characters.
No probs, we just like to help answer questions where we can. If we didn't answer anyone's questions then we'd probably be accused of being rude. Lol we're dammed if we don't and dammed if we do. In the crowd we could barely see anything towards the end because of the German film crew who had no consideration for those of us watching, as well as a gaggle of children who stood up right at the front and blocked everyone’s view.
