I bought a package of Caribbean peppers one time. I think they were habanero. I put 4 in a spaghetti sauce and simmered it for about 5 hours. My eyes were burning and my nose was running as it cooked. Needless to say, we couldn't eat it. It was like chemical hot! I froze it in really small batches and added a small portion to other pasta sauces I made at a later date and it was STILL too hot. I ended up throwing the whole lot out. That is the day that I found out that the longer you cook a pepper, the hotter it gets.
I used to grow the red savina habaneros and they were pretty warm! The hottest pepper I have ever eaten was a chocolate Trinidad maruga scorpion. It’s the only pepper that has given me the hiccups! I don’t care much for the “pepper” taste. But I like the heat!

We have people watching from the front ie the camera person and they signal to the team behind if there is suspicion they are not chewing. As you can appreciate it is a busy and fast moving contest and you can clearly see Klerwi is chewing at 4:36 9:52 11:51 13:12 etc etc. The fact is all the contestants all sign up and are the heroes of the show, please feel free to enter one of our many contests we run throughout the year, Thanks again keep watching ;-)

Heres the thing. Alot of asians who enter this competition always exit early. The stereotype that asians only eat hot spicy food is true in general in daily life. But not alot of asians can go to this extreme and handle it. I have asians freinds who think because they eat spicy food that they can handle it. Trust me they cant.
