This is the first floating infotainment screen that doesn't look like the design team forgot about it and just said slap a tablet on the dash and call it a day. That said it needs to be higher but it looks good.
Agree with the comments below. James has a very approachable and well informed style. Great review.

So how exactly does the regen work with this car?
You drive to gas station and fill it up.
Fun fact most of your Regen is done with the engine, Regen with braking is nowhere near as effective as the engine Regen is, it's basically means the engine is a generator charging the batteries

Love McLaren styling and clinical engineering. Not overdone, but still a stunning dream car. Last time a supercar was reviewed universally and words like understated and functional were used we were treated to the original NSX. I get the feeling, that in 20 years, people will appreciate this and other McLaren's in the same way.
Mclaren will supasse the likes of Ferrari very soon, its astonishing what they have accomplished is just a few yeas.
Not if they don't improve their customer service they won't....

What about the fit and finish. McLaren have some weird issues....like the scissor doors that hit the front 1/4 panels when you open the doors. Total rubbish for a car in the stratospheric price tags. Sorry but my 2012 G37xS Coupe (red) has an electronicky adjustable steering wheel with the dash that moves with it and whose position is in the seat memory....
But its still only an infinite!!!!

Its a great drivers car maybe not explosive enough. MC20 looks better although this Artura looks evolved Mclaren, still lovely.

V6 TT ..electric motors NSX🤔
I think the design is a let down. Just like the mp4-12c, the 650s looked so much better. I think the Artura could use a more standout design. It’s a bit blend for me. Maybe it will grow on me in the future.
The Honda NSX was the same to blend. But the NSX type S looks so much better. This could use a bit of that.

Looks to much like a emira and isn't as exotic looks wise as it should be given its technology and price point
I'm sure it's a great car but the front is too similar to any of the others(boring) , the gaping holes in the doors and back wings are pretty hideous tbh. I think most cars they produce are boring and soulless, I had a test drive in a 720 and yup.. It was fast and good to drive but when I walked away and looked back.. I only thought, it looked boring.

@@skynetsworld yes, because Ferrari 296 GTB is faster thsn Ferrari F8 Tributo which is a V8, so what's the point of that V8 if a V6 it is faster? The sound, that is what V8 remains for, not the performance
Which one would you guys go for out of the Ferrari 296GTB or McLaren Artura?
now that's its v6 I'd rather just get the mc20
