- Hello everyone and a happy 2022 to you all! Today we will be doing another MPG economy test in the W204 C63! This involves me driving in a city so we can find out if the C63 really is that bad on fuel. What fuel economy do you think the C63 will achieve, be sure to watch and find out!

I live in London and daily a C63 S204 Estate. Not sure how the person you bought the car off was getting 4mpg. On a tank I get around 14mpg daily urban driving which is a bit low. If I start hitting dual carriageways and motorways cruises you can get up to around 25mpg relatively easily.

Thank you for the support! Yeah I couldn’t believe what he told me either. Perhaps I may have misheard him, or it just was a one off drive where he was in such heavy traffic for his whole trip. But to get 14mpg in urban London, I don’t think that’s bad going at all!
Not bad at all! For the kinda driving we do, and for the gas that we get in return, it’s not the worse for a V8. I’ll have a full tank, take a day to San Francisco which I’m 66 miles away from. Drive around town for a bit while with some stops. After the day is up, I’m still left with just about a half a tank. I’m mostly cruising for the most part, averaged 21 mph on the highway at one point. Throw in some pulls (lol) and it’ll be around 19 still. Great video, Oxford looks like a place to visit one day ☝🏼
That’s fantastic! These 6.2 V8’s really are unbelievable on fuel considering the nature of the engine! I’m glad I’m not the only who thinks these cars are uneconomical, I need to start pitching these C63’s to green peace so they bring them back 🤣😉

@Ninnam just looking around on the market and doing research on what spec I want. I've settled for a 507 edition coupe because I can afford one now, and pray that the price shoots up because it was so limited. She's running a white exterior with two-tone white/black interior.
@@sirreggy4765 that’s an excellent spec and I love the two tone leather combination, really lifts up the interior! I am definitely not bias with my two tone interior 😉 As long as you don’t do too many miles, I think it will be a good investment, 507 prices have gone crazy!
It's great to hear real world mpg on C63. i Would happily hear your feedback on mpg during highway speeds.
P.s. Why did you put down backrest of your backseats?
Dzięki Grzegorz! Thank you for watching and I did do a video on long journeys driving on highways which would give you an idea of what to expect. But typically you can expect 25/29mpg on highways, the longer the journey the better the mpg. I forgot my seats were down, but sometimes I keep them down for better exhaust noise in the cabin, it also helps the camera capture the exhaust sound for better audio : )
Your gallons are bigger than our gallons. But ours are cheaper (for now).
Your fuel will always be cheaper than ours! Fuel here at the moment is extortionate 🤣
