Hi, I have a doubt.. Before the update the Switch for example. the switch need be set on the Bundle Mode or Install Mode ? I´ve read a doc where said that device network need be to set on Install mode to work correctly the update
Hey Jonathan, you can use any mode to start with. If you start with Bundle or install mode after upgrade the mode remain same. DNAC can not change the mode, you can do this conversion voa switch CLI. So there is no restriction for upgrade using DNAC,. The install mode requirement come into picture if you are doing "PlugnPlay" or ZTP. HTH, Amit
@@SDNTechForum initially started one by one to after that will start like 3 device at a time. Because it will make easier to downgrade the IOS in case of failure. Also I have multiple switches series like 3560,9300,9500 that's also the reason. It will make easier for me to monitor the upgrade progress

Shall we upgrade directly without DNAC?
You can but then you are defeating RoI for your DNAC. SWIM is one of the best feature, please make use of it.
@@SDNTechForum Thank you so much. Tomorrow going to do that. 9300 series edge switches.

how much time it will take to upgrade a switch via DNA
It depends on how large the image size is and how much time it takes to transfer the image.. generally 15 mins.
@@SDNTechForum Thanks for response just started upgrading my network 41 switches about 5 minutes ago

@@maliktauseef9333 good plan, some form of grouping will ease operational complexity.
