This has been a common wave among most millennials(I can say because I'm one), just because you strongly believe in an idea you can't stand someone who's on the opposite end of the spectrum than you.
In the age of internet, being a leftist, rightist, socialist etc are not self formed beliefs but rather a result of finely curated string of information which makes you lean a certain way without you knowing about it.
I strongly believe in environmental conservation and try and do my part towards it. At the same time majority of my friends don't give a damn about it. Should I stop being friends with them?
You don't need to be friends with someone who thinks radically opposite to you but don't hate on them, preferably take a moment to think why do they think so and the world would be a better place.

People are being lynched on the streets, jailed on fraudulent charges, being murdered when they protest and every time the minority is made into a villian. I think the thing is that it's alright to be friends with a person having a different political opinion as long as it concerns policies and plans. The thing about left-wing and right-wing in India is that it is not a rightly used term. Left-wing is all about Liberalisation and Progressive mindset, while most "left-wing" political parties in India do not have that kind of attitude. I mean even Congress and other parties have top ministers that have very problematic opinions. Similarly, right-wing is associated with Nationalism. Now if someone is progressive in thoughts, a liberal in thoughts if you want to put it that way, but they support BJP only because to them it is a better political party to support when it comes to their policies and bills, but that doesn't mean that their opinions are that of an extremist. They just find Congress or any other party incompetent. Now if a person is orthodox and toxic in their opinion, but still supports left-wing parties, does that make them a better person? It gets complicated because of this. No matter whom they vote for, you can always call them out for their bullshit opinions and try to reason with them, be it a supporter of a party you support or a supporter of an opposition party.

I'm very close to every religious person in our place with out a problem. On a party wise one of my best friend is in AIADMK with whom we compete on. But, personally we don't hold any grudge between us probable the reason being both our party leaders of last generation had similar opinions. Probably that's one reason for our religious harmony. But I'm afraid with the current situational change where BJP is trying to take over AIADMK because of the vacuum that is available after the death of Jayalalitha. It may lead to bring in enmity even with our best friends because of the ideology that they nurture. I spoke to a colleague in Mumbai who is a member of RSS and one point he made was that the next world war might be against Hindus and the only party that can save us in such a situation is BJP. I was like, bro, your brain has to grow. But he is an Engineer with a good designation. Wonder, what is even happening to our education system.

I have been watching this post patiently and Nand Kumar is the only sane individual who looks like an ordinary individual . Hiba and Bilal are too intelligent to be living here in India where almost all non-Muslims as per them are drinking gau mootra and running amuck. At least Bilal is gracious enough to tolerate opposing opinion but Hiba indeed is the embodiment of feminism and political correctness(which she assumes). We are living in a country for centuries where despite not liking others religion we "try" to be friendly and never engage much in political discussions as we felt personal relationships are more important. Of course, the country has become toxic and we must not support hate. But belittling friendships who otherwise have the slightest amount of opposing political opinions is nothing but ARROGANCE and utmost naive attitude. HIBA
I think is very very religious and deeply affected by right-wing politics which I can understand. But she must understand that not all right-wingers are Hindutva supporters, maybe she is an Islamic socialist. You have your opinion Hiba that's your wish, but to me, you are Linda Sarsour minus hijab 😏

If you don't discuss with your closed friends if they have extreme views then how will we reform the society. We need to discuss with people and not avoid them. It's not about proving someone wrong but just a healthy discussion no matter how extreme their views are.
This is a problem in millennials (even am also a millennial) they just don't want to discuss conflicting ideas and listen to others rather they prefer avoiding the topic.

This shows alot about political opinions. From the very start, the people who are actually against BJP or say left leaning (sitting in video) are actually not open for having people with contrasting opinions but the ones on the right are very much open to sit discuss and still maintain a respectful convo and relation.
That's what everyone must see, the claimed flag bearers of "Liberalism" are not so liberal when it comes to someone having difference of opinion.
Good that you made this video.

I have broken up with 3 girls, loosen my interest in 5 girls, blocked 2 girls with which everything was going great , been blocked by about 30+ people not because they support BJP. But because they don't even want to talk about it. It's just get offended on anything I say. Because they don't have any strong argument to put rather than hindu rashtra, cow, ram mandir etc.

@@shubhawarigaikwad I have one question I support everything you said but if you tell the miniorities to not put religion before constitution then we r called communal and non secular and freedom of expression is questioned then how can you expect the majority people to not talk about it. 1) dude... Why wud u support everything I say just blindly??..
U don't hv to do dat ... U can agree n disagree on things n dats completely normal.
Never ever will you find a person 95 percent perfect so never do dat.
      2) if minority does something u find wrong/offensive ... Why not try emphathisizing and understanding wat it comes from ... To actually correct the situation.
You can even try giving ur piece of mind to them on a larger scale... !
Wudnt that make more sense than doing further worse by following their example and validating even more and then preach abt it?!?!🤷 ... How can u expect things to improve?!?..
      3) if u cud give a better perspective to watevr this minority communal u said ... In a better way... That wud do less of harm. Just bcoz we dont understand somebody's situation doesnt make us eligible to despise/disregard/demean them.
      Example:-
a)just bcoz m straight n don't understand how queer emotion is doesn't make me eligible to despise them.
b)just bcoz I don't eat nonveg doesn't give me any right to despise someone who loves pork.
      ..
      4) we in india on mass level end up terming a anything/person/thought that is unknown/unrelated as wrong or bad.
The day we get this straight...many questions will b answered..life will easier n humanity will prevail!!
