Secondly we middle class parents fight and corrupt these owners for placement in so- called elite schools has fueled this crisis and impunity of the proprietors to charge us exorbitantly.

In the Education sector, as Mr.Kasozi mentions, get an affordable school, help yo child with learning and govt should get more PDM money to serious entrepreneurs.
I love how passionate the panel is about daily life and education system in Uganda. I went to one of best government schools in the 90s and believe me all those things that were asked to be taken like hoe's,double deckers and Ream papers etc ended up on the school lorry back to Kikuubo for sale. We pay our taxes in the UK and never have to pay for Education ,Infrastructure and medical etc for children..l pray Uganda one day will cater for everyone. Very very sad situation in our country. All you pay are the books and accommodation. Naye bwoba muwejjere, still according to the family income, hostel is paid by the state but you have to come up with a certain level of results failure of which you’re expelled.
Italy uni is paid according to your family’s income, you can pay € 250 or less and the government pays the rest, much as you can pay € 600 per semester if your income is high.

I know a private school owner who has a stationery shop and a hardware. He sell items parents bring at school.
