The whole team was defending the 3pt line. That wasn't just on KAT. That was a scheme problem or a motivation problem involving the entire team.
They also didn't give KAT a legit look at the end of the game.
Coach also needs to blame himself. I'm usually the first person to hate on KAT but this game isn't on him it's on everyone else and especially the coach for not having his players ready for the job. The whole game they weren't even guarding the paint.

@@icegod4767it's just a matter of IQ and maturity. Lamelo has been a pro his entire life since childhood. Ant is just kind of dumb and athletic and apparently the MIN FO never even gave him some role model veterans to teach him not to be a dumbass or teach him high IQ basketball. Overall just a poverty franchise regardless of what talent or assets they have. Should have kept Pat Bev so he could show Ant the ropes.
3 things: melo needs a good overall team, needs to stay healthy, and be better at shooting off the dribble.

Their coach can't scheme. KAT was guarded by 5 players on those last two plays. So if you're going to talk moving pieces you might as well do the whole thing over because there is a ton of wasted talent on this team in roles they either don't belong in as "superstars" or there is a ton of great role players on this team who would be better off playing for better locker rooms and franchises. But also the coach clearly doesn't have a grip on this team nor does his playbook.

As a hornets fan, nice win, but i feel sorry for this team and fans. hoping next year this new management can instill athletes that that GAF about winning & not losing..that will get excited and take pride in not being terrible year after year.
That's not the problem. Their biggest issue has been health. Before Melo went down dude was on a 32 point per game roll. They need a new medical team and a culture rooted in healthy eating too.

I think Rozier, Bridges and Miller, I see aggressiveness in them at times. If this team would play aggressive with edge they would not lose as many games.
