How can church that collected millions of dollars every year for several years, now be unable to keep making payroll already, where did all those millions of dollars go to?
Only 3% of any congregation actually tithes. Most of Gateways income was tied to large events and book and music sales which have all dried up as well as large capitol expenses for building repairs at the main campus and other campuses (NRH campus had substantial fire damage recently) as well as dealing with inflation just like everyone else. (Electrical bills for campuses are huge even when they aren't being used)
The church does not want staff coming out later to make false claims and put the onus of proof on the church. So the church has frontloaded this as a precaution. My views please.

This sort of thing puts a stain on the entire church nationwide. Its seems this sort of thing continues to happen. It’s sad but the church nationwide will continue. Transparency and disclosure, credit and complete criminal checks should be performed before ordination, licensing, etc. Yearly reviews performed by independent investigators to verify things are being done ethically and honestly. Many times Pastors are great teachers but poor business people. The sloppy business aspects gets them in trouble.
@ yep, you are correct. Many denominations are tightening up their requirements. Yearly audits by independent auditors might be required for non profits who cheat the system by IRS. Frankly, I think it’s coming.
A video? This is communicated through a video? The next video he makes needs to say he has resigned and has no right to ever be in a position like he has ever again. All remaining staff need to resign and find real work elsewhere.
This is so Disappointing, as an elder myself we are held to a higher standard towards the body of Christ, in ensuring integrity, honesty and accountability of those acting in leadership roles and this is not how you address those who have been faithful to the ministry. I truly pray this body can find restoration the leadership the narrow path again.

I hope you understand that church works with covenants and when you kick out the person God made a covenant with, you're done. I've been saying this since you guys started with all you're doing to the angel that God established on Gateway. I just hope it won't be too late before you understand how spirituality works
Yes. And I was sorry to see they didn’t know what to do with Robert’s past. They didn’t honor or recognize that Robert has said time and time again from the pulpit that Jesus encountered him in a hotel room and he was delivered from a spirit of lust. The sexual sin or abuse cycle is stopped when there is forgiveness and repentance. The church did not know how to honor or recognize a cycle of sexual sin was actually stopped.
