Used to be called Hunt’s Pier. The Hunt Family had a home in Avalon, somewhere around 35th street maybe? Our family stayed there in about 1971. Great place. It’s still there but has been modernized last I saw it.

@@Bella.2cool4you thank you so much. All born and raised in Jersey. I am 1 of 20 children. There are 11 of us left. Yes it is so hard, but we have such great memories of the shore, deep sea fishing,and The Boardwalk!! Jersey girls are the best in the world.
Was just watching a video on the Ghost Ship and it they have reopened it, just the first floor only for this year and they did a soft opening for it. It was closed since 2019 and they just put money into it and got it running again

Proposed on the Giant wheel 5 yrs ago. They do an event called Breakfast in the Sky where you eat breakfast on the ferris wheel. Would recommend!
Unfortunately I don’t think they offer the breakfast in the sky anymore.

Myself and my 7 sisters met for a week at Wildwood Crest. My sister Barb died this year. We probably won't go back.
