It would be nice if you guys reported the "elephant in the room"!!!! The red tide catastrophe is man-made. I am a 60 year resident of Florida and this disaster began when our not-so-smart politicians allowed the sugar industry to destroy south Florida. And, let us not forget the rampant and uncontrolled population growth that is going on. They have got to have their beautiful manicured lawns that require tons of fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides. Why don't you guys talk about those facts?!!!! Florida will be a wasteland in 20 years....shameful
It's so "natural" that it never occurs anywhere but Florida, and 90% of the time its in the gulf...obviously a man made problem from pollution.
From fertilizer (nitrogen) from all the crops above the Everglades.

We have algae bloom Lake Erie same cause.

The fishing is not red hot in the bay lol. There was a massive red tide after piney point 2 years ago and another big one in 2018. Tampa Bay's fishery is a fraction of what it once was.

They do it annually. The Mosaic reservoirs in Riverview are at max capacity all the time. Looks like this year they had to dump some extra early :)
