I also bought the Warcry Starter and am currently learning the game and having a blast. Love all your videos even though it is sometimes hard to understand you due to the audio . Cant wait for the next one!
Lets all sit back and just bask in the complete insanity of the Dominion box being the same price as Crypt of Blood. With that little bit of negativity out of the way- love to see you reference other good Warcry content creators! Sure helps growing the community...
I plan on buying this an using it as a method to walk through friends and family through as the ruleset is laid out perfectly for people that are new to wargames as it follows the time tested methods of Tell Show Have a go or in the corporate world Change Management. The value in the box is not the mini's and other stuff it is the setup to teach people how to play.
I was looking at expanding the Truthseekers. I wanted to try and keep the entire team together, so this limited my options somewhat. Adding a Knight Arcanum and a Vindicator fit perfectly. Taros is a pretty weak in combat, so I could swap it out for a Gryph-hound.
Any recommendations for a replacement for the old guard in Thiccboi Cardio? He’s 5 points too expensive now for the way you had it set up. Should I still run it with one less grand hammer and an extra shield boi?
It is quite strange. They'll have a new starter box in a year, but that's quite a while. I'd actually suggest buying one of the dual warband boxes over this.
Since the Crimson Court are Bladeborn fighters, is it legal to ally them with the Sons of Velmorn which are also Bladeborn fighters? They are both in the Soulblight Gravelords faction.
@@thesaltyseagames Is it more important to maximize the number of heroes, or a combination that melds well together. You could take all 4 Crimson Court, and all the Sons of Velmorn minus the minion with a glaive and it comes to 1,000 points on the nose. Both heroes could raise the two minion skeletons, the champion skeleton can protect the Skeleton hero. You could drop the weakest Crimson court member to get the skeleton minion with glaive, but you gain a third minion, that can be raised, but lose a faster fighter.
Awesome thanks for helping us new players understand whats next GW does a poor job of explaining how to expand your warbands and it makes it needlessly intimidating. 🎉
Thanks for putting this out there so new players, who bought this box, have a direction to go. You’re a treasure Salty.

Lol I know. It's crazy, but had to mention it in what's otherwise a fairly new-player-oriented video.
At least in Germany CoB is 65€ Dominion at least 111
@@sebastianwei7721 wow that's a much better deal. At $70 us I think a lot of people on our side of the ocean would be excited about it.
@@thesaltyseagames that’s the lowest price I found for them, GW sells CoB for 85€ on their webstore.
I know a lot of people aren't happy with this set but I think it great. Love the characters :)

It's kinda silly how killteam starter set gives you two full fledged teams, and this gives you these crumbs

Yes, you can have both in the same list. Technically you could even have them in a 2nd separate faction, since you get 2 allies per list.

85€ ? Are you or better is GW mad? Even 61€ is too much for that abysmal recycled stuff.
