What an amazing video. I can't believe it's free. (I just bought all your instructionals to support your teachings as well). This is a high level technique not being taught elsewhere.

@@robertdeglejj7125 hahahaa I totally get it. An uke that understands the technique can really make a big difference on the explanation

What's funny is that it was in a roll with you where I first came up with this idea. Ironic haha

Love these videos. How would you handle a strong wrestler who uses a strong cross face and chest to chest pressure to counter a cross ashi?

Hi man from two years ago. Incase you haven't figured this out on your own by now. The counter to that crossface is the to attack the shoulder crunch system into choi bars, etc. In fact, the new meta is to bait that deep half to get them to crossface you so you can set it up. Hope this helps, brother. 🤙

Is there any reason you prefer to go to the backside 50/50 instead of rolling over your other shoulder (by starting to turn away from your opponent), grabbing the heel and turning it towards the outside, forcing a roll to inside sankaku? It's something I see in older sparring footage of your team and saw in a video by olivier taza. I personally always found myself getting smashed when I tried it.

just rewatched the vinny magalesh vs gordon ryan match. He couldnt finish with the crossashi heelhook when vinny turned away, you did against your opponent with the purple rashguard. Gordon had his feet locked to the far hip you to the near hip does this make any difference? Also right before the match ended when gordon had a last chance in with kanibasami vinny denied him his second leg. He may could have won with the method you described in your vid. Love your content. Just stumbled uppon your channel and been binchwatching since. Hopefully someday you can make money of youtube so your content keeps coming.
