Enjoyed the video. The crispy beef looked so good! One of my favorite Asian dishes.

So happy to see the China Mama review. I love those House Special Buns, and when I was there in June, they were temporarily closed, so I didn’t get my usual “fix”. So glad you ordered them.

Dana, their original location had a kitchen fire and a few months later, after being closed obviously, they moved into this spot in Shanghi Plaza. We LOVED it just like you did. So very yummy!

Thanks Jodi and Matt for the review. The food looked good there at China Mama. Too bad it's located where it is, I would love to try the place. Maybe someday.

I've seen many Asians in TH-cam videos explain eating fried rice. Basically you eat it with a spoon and you use either chopsticks or a fork to help guide the rice onto the spoon when scooping the rice to eat. TH-cam channel "Palin's Kitchen" has a video on this. She is Thai and her channel focuses on how to make Thai food.

We also see them with the bowl by their mouth basically pushing the rice out of the bowl and into their mouth. At least we now have ideas for options. 😆

It is hard to eat rice dishes with chopsticks and a plate. We would ask for a bowl to eat rice with chopsticks or ask for a fork. That's how we would eat at home in the US or Hong Kong.

We are so glad someone answered our question. Thank you! We didn't have a bowl, and only one spoon, which was a huge serving spoon, but I think we should have used the soup spoon from the hot and sour soup. Also, that was the best hot and sour soup i have ever had. It was a surprise to me that it was actually a delicious sour. I had only had the sweeter, more Americanized kind. I loved it!

Which one did you go to? I don't eat pork. I liked the Chinese Food that they made in Toucan Charlie's at the Stardust Hotel. Would like to help you, but, I don't use chop sticks myself. I was on a cruise one time and the guy sitting next to me on one cruise used chop sticks to eat everything. He ate salad with chop sticks, his main course, and dessert. One night I saw him trying to eat ice cream with chop sticks and informed him it might be better if he used a spoon.
