I was excited to visit pyramids one day but when I saw many videos about scammers and how they are hassling tourists I change my mind totally. This is crazy 🤦♂️
It’s really not that serious. Just ignore. The experience gets ruined if you actually get scammed but these videos are exactly for you so you can be educated
I have been at the Pyramids many times. There is a simple way to avoid those people. Dont answer them. Give them a respectful "no thanks" and move on. As long as you are talking to them they will keep trying.
Going to speak Spanish to each other when we visit next week. Man the scammers really degrade the experience. Sad the Egyptian govt does nothing about it.
I'd love to visit Giza but I'm unsure if I could handle all that crap on such a special, unique trip. I thought Hurghada was bad! Great vid though, amazing scenery and fair play for keeping your cool....
What I don't get is why they don't respect your decision of not wanting their service. I got hassled in a Mexico market place so bad and after being polite so much I had to raise my voice and said, Enough!!! They got embarrassed but when you can't even think of what you're looking for and you have 5-7 people all talking at once is maddening!
What would be very funny is when these scammers are trying to talk to you, you start walking very very fast away from them like on the Benny Hill show! 😂😂😂
I’ve been to Egypt dozens of times over the last 20 or so years and the pyramids still annoys the crap out of me. The best way to deal with these is to not respond at all, don’t even respond to ‘where are you from?’ as you are now engaged in conversation. If they say ‘do you know how much’ never hazard a guess because you’ve now entered into discussing a price. It’s sounds horrible but just become ignorant and obnoxious towards them and they will walk away. It’s got worse since 2020 because tourists were minimal for a few years and they’ve become more desperate and pushy. The Egyptian people will never learn that being pushy ruins their chances of earning money.
Don´t chat with them, don´t be gentile and smile - instead throw all your good manners out of the window and they´ll leave you alone... F..ckin scammers!!!
I’ve watched many of these Egypt videos where tourists are constantly harassed. One thing I’ve learned is to say no and walk away. Never ask how much because you’re encouraging further harassment.
@@amirmalikvlogss the constant harassment really ruins the experience..I'll never return to Egypt because of the constant scamming. I saved money for a long time to visit Egypt and I had a horrible experience because of the scammers.
You said . . . these animals are blessed. Really? Well if you call being whipped, starved and abused a blessing then I agree, the animals are blesses: but who want's that type of blessing?
If these shit for brains scammers used a bit of their hustle talent to be attentive to the people they interact with then the outcome will be more positive for them as well as for the tourist. Also I am mighty surprised that the tourism ministry is not stepping in to keep these hustlers in a certain area where the tourist can only approach them if they are interested in their services.
the more you talk to them.. the more they are gonna stick around cause they think they can scam you.. say no.. and dont say anything else and walk away
I will NEVER ride the camels because I don’t want to torture the animals and they are too dirty to seat on. Just walk away and say “no” or say nothing to them.
I really think the thing to do in say nothing. Its hard because we think its rude......where you come from, welcome, how much???...............silence.
I've seen several of these videos I'm really intrigued by them. But you don't even look like a tourist, you look like a local not to be rude so why would they come up to you... maybe what draws them is the "camera" that gives it away for them to start harassing you, I think that's what it is....🤔🤔
Y’all people need to understand that this hustle is part of their culture. Also, keep in mind that they live in a poor country just enjoy interacting with them make fun convo they won’t harm you. Honestly one of the reasons that makes me wanna visit this historic place is those hustler
Amir bhai If you camel ride just give 50 egyptian pound and tell give me full around for 1 hour. 50 egyptian pound is fair for full round. Kishore From Singapore 🇸🇬 But born in pakistan.
I almost want to go to Egypt just to see the Scammers....and Troll with them!!!!
I don’t blame you 😂
🤣
I was excited to visit pyramids one day but when I saw many videos about scammers and how they are hassling tourists I change my mind totally. This is crazy 🤦♂️
I was the same bro it is still a good experience and one id still recommend, but the hasslers do ruin the experience a bit

If these guys had a set price and didn't annoy people so much, their business would probably actually double.
“I said free” 😂😂😂😂 the guy soon legged it.
😂😂 there was no other way hahaha

Reminds me of my time in egypt. You should’ve just not talked to any of them at all
Yeah true it was funny at the start but then it got too much
How far could you walk around? Could you take a panoramic photo without a camel ride?
You said . . . these animals are blessed. Really? Well if you call being whipped, starved and abused a blessing then I agree, the animals are blesses: but who want's that type of blessing?
