me too. at night, i will lay in bed, watch these vlogs, listen to their words of wisdom, and then I can go to bed.
today I felt really good because this girl was sitting alone in class and I let her sit next to me! It's something really simple, but it made me feel so happy, and seeing her smiling and saying nice words to me was just amazing, it was like I had achieved my "goal"
I wanted to share this to show how, even as normal people not only can we make other people happier but we can also make ourselves feel better!
It's also thanks to you, Lex and Los, cause you always inspire me to be kind and respectful to other people, so thank you :)

PRAYER REQUEST: Please pray for my aunt who is very sick. I love her dearly, she practically raised me until I moved to Ireland. Being away from her makes me so sad the last time I saw her was 2 months ago and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. She had to stop her dialysis as she can no longer take it and had a second stroke 2 weeks ago which lead to her not being able to communicate or move any more. When she was rushed to the hospital she was in a coma and the doctor told us that there was no hope and all we can do is wait for her to stop breathing so we prayed and prayed and about a week ago she woke up from the coma and was discharged from the hospital as her heart seems to be stable. I know the inevitable is coming and I guess what I'm praying for is if it happens we just want her to not suffer. I think that is the main thing. It would be selfish of me to ask God for her to stay longer only to suffer right? We are just preparing for it and we accept whatever God's plan may be as we know it will be for the better. ~Angelica

PRAYER WARRIORS NEEDED: I would love for y'all to pray for my friend who I met through an organization called Best Buddies 2 years ago. Her name is Kristi and her husband's name is Jeff. They have twin boys that will turn 4 years old in a couple of weeks, a 1 year old daughter, adopted teens and just had ANOTHER set of twins (girl/boy) at 28.5 weeks last week. Let's lift these #TinyButMighty babies up in tons of prayers for them to continue to get stronger please. It would mean a lot to me and the family. Thank y'all in advance. PRAYER REQUEST: I graduated high school in 2010 ... I had this huge dream of being a makeup artist. I never abandoned my education. I attempted to do it but it was in my heart that I just wasn't ready. So I dedicated myself to making that dream of being a makeup artist come true. I was successful. I worked for MAC Cosmetics. I worked at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I was thriving in that field. Then I woke up and God told me it was time... he made that blessing a reality for me and now it was time to move onto something even bigger. To make a true difference in this world. So I quit my job in January... I turned 24 and I applied at a university as an adult undergraduate. I got accepted in April. & I just began this new journey to be a psychologist / art therapist. With that being said, my request is for just positivity and great health. The 2 may seem unrelated but I have a pretty weak immune system and I have been turning to God to help me with that and positivity so that this new chapter is full of motivation and just determination as I tend to get discouraged at times. I know this is where I am supposed to be. I thank God daily for even allowing me to see the sun rise each day or the beautiful formations in the clouds. Now I am in constant prayer for patience. Alexa, you said it ... we tend to make things happen if God doesn't work them "quick enough." It's the human way about us, I guess. I would love help in working on that. Ok enough! Sorry for the ramble! Thank you and God bless your perfect little family. 💖

I have never commented on one of the vlogs before but I have felt the need to for a while.
My name is Chandler and I started watching the vlogs with my 5 year old niece while I was home for the summer (she loves you guys). I just wanted to say that you both are very inspirational to me and have really encouraged me to start back with my daily devotions and pursuing God! I am a senior in college and life is starting to get really busy and hard at times! One of the greatest things is hearing y'alls honesty about life and the things you are going through! My new routine has been watching the newest vlog before I go to bed every night. It's such a good way to wind down and I love hearing Alexa's words of wisdom so I can think about it as I get ready to sleep. Lately I've been distant in my relationship with God, but watching these vlogs and hearing Alexa and Carlos read from God's word every night has been helping me a lot!

I'd like to ask for prayer for patience and wisdom. When I graduated from high school, I really started to pray and seek after what God wanted me to do with my life. I then felt this passion for Los Angeles. So many people get sucked up in the LA lifestyle and just forget about God. I found a room to rent in Anaheim, which was not LA, but I felt God wanted me there. I made the move from my San Diego home to this new place in Orange County. I've been living here for about 7 months now, and I'm getting frustrated because I thought God wanted me in central LA, but I haven't been seeing open doors that will take me there. I'm super tempted to force some doors open, but I know that won't end well, just like what you guys talked about. So I'm asking for patience to wait for God's timing, and wisdom to know what to do while I wait. (: thank you guys, you are beautiful!

My husband and I started our family at a very young age. To many, our oldest was considered a mistake and have always been frowned upon. We have two beautiful children. Our oldest is 8 and our youngest is 5. March of 2015 we had a miscarriage. It was devastating. We started trying again March of 16. We became pregnant in June and we were so excited. Our children were head over heels knowing they were getting a little brother or sister. On July 21 I started having pains in my lower stomach and when I got to the hospital they confirmed I had my second miscarriage. It's took a toll on myself and my husband. I've had blood work done before we started trying again to make sure I was healthy and everything looked good. I never thought it would happen again. I firmly believe in the power of prayer! I know the Lord holds me in his hands and he knows what's best for my family. Without Jesus I wouldn't be who I am today. To know I will see my babies when I get to Heaven is a wonderful feeling that makes me happy but it's hard to not be selfish and be sad and want them here with me. If y'all would, please pray for healing of mine and my husbands hearts and that Jesus will bless us with a healthy baby in my womb and have a healthy pregnancy. Yalls encouraging words are always what I need to hear. Gods timing is perfect and I am so guilty of trying to take the lead. He is wonderful! Love you guys and all y'all stand for!

-Loved the words of wisdom! So true! Ugh God is amazing and I can't believe we as humans are so naive to the challenges of life and our wants. We are so stubborn and impatient and that's the thing we need the most. PATIENCE. Guilty too. Great clarity Alexa, I also have grown so much spiritually that I'm impressed on how much understanding I get from reading the bible now versus a few years back. The bible is one of the hardest book to understand but with asking for guidence and wisdom to understand it soon enough becomes clear and it just penetrates the heart and soul. Blessings!💕

Prayer request~ Trying to start up a drama/acting team in my high school youth group, and would really appreciate yours and everybody else's prayers over that! I'm a worrier, so I worry about so many things going wrong. But I know God's got this, and that he's put this idea on my heart for a reason. Much love!
I go to a small Christian college in Indiana called Grace College and I'm a bible major. I'm currently in an Understanding the Old Testament class and it is BLOWING MY MIND! Anyways, your words on Abraham and Sarah reminded me of some things and I thought I'd share:
1. A lot of people view the OT as not relevant to today's times, so they choose to solely focus on the NT and I think that is so sad! All script is inspired and breathed out by God! There are so many lessons to be learned through the stories and characters of the OT! So I would encourage everyone to read all parts of the bible and not only the gospel parts! All of the bible points to Jesus and the cross! The OT might take a little more effort to understand but I promise it is worth it!
2. Covenants are an agreement between two or more parties where promises AND obligations are made. The obligations part is often breezed over! When God promised us blessings, that doesn't come without our faithfulness, our obligations!
I just wanted to say thank you to Lex and Los. The two of have inspired me to become a better Christian and person in general. I have begun to actually read my bible for the first time. I used to call myself a Christian but I never actually but the work in to be one. Now I'm reading the Word and acting on it all because of the two of you. You are my inspiration to keep going on this amazing journey I'm on. So, keep doing what you're doing because its beautiful! Y'all are just what the world needs. It would be amazing if the two of you and everyone else would add me to their prayer lists!

My heart is extra heavy tonight guys, someone I knew from church who loved the Lord with all her heart and soul passed away last night in an ATV accident. She was a grandmother and was spending time with her grandkids when the ATV flipped and she sustained serious head trauma. She was rushed to the hospital and died on the way/at the hospital. She was a beautiful person inside and out and helped many people in their walks with the Lord. She talked with me often and prayed with and for me when I needed it as well. I am comforted in knowing she is in the Lord's presence but I can't imagine what her family is going through today and for the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Please pray for her and their family. Thank you.

I can totally relate to Alexa. Since last year I've been reading my bible almost every night and now I finally understand what I'm reading compared to other times in the past when I would read it once in a while but didn't fully grasp it until now. Prayer Request: for the last couple of years I have felt as if my blessings have been taking a while to come to me. I've spoke to God about it. I guess what I really want is to actually get a job that I love! Ive been stuck at this stressful for 4 years and is time for me to move on! When opportunities come, something always happends that it doesn't end up being what I need and I go back to the stressful job! Please help pray God opens doors soon so I can finally live at peace.
