- Today marks the 15th anniversary of the passing of Monkey World's founder, Jim Cronin MBE. Alison has a message for all of our supporters, with a little help from Bachelor chimps Seamus and Freddy.

I am sure you still miss Jim every day. His death was such a loss, not only to yourself and to the park, but to his legacy in general. He was one AMAZING individual. I am sure you will be reunited with Jim in heaven.
Assuming he believed in God and is saved sure hope so.

Alison, I feel like Maybe I’ve been behind as I watch videos of your park and your rescues with you and Jim and everyone involved and I have become so attached to the beautiful stories of each of the fascinating animals. I’m so sad to find out (today 4-8-22) that Jim passed away in 2007. The 2 of you made such a great team and I have loved watching you interact and make important decisions together. My deepest respect for Jim, he obviously was a man that walked the walk and talked the talk. It's apparent that he left his lovely wife Alison, brother & sister primates, family, human friends with precious memories that will be etched in their heart's forever and a day. Jim was pure earth angel whilst here on this earth. May he rest in peace knowing that his dedicated work continues ensuring that no neglected or abused primates gets left behind and they are given a life so, rightfully deserved.

I cannot believe it is 15/16 years. You all do such wonderful work on behalf of abused apes.
Alison you should be so proud of the work that you've carried on for Jim. I know he's watching you and is so proud of the effort put forth by you and your team. I watch these videos and it's hard for me to remember that they're from years ago. It would be fantastic if you could do an update video. And update us on the team and you and the primates!!! I would absolutely love to see everyone and how much you've all grown over the years. You could make it an anniversary edition and sell it to raise funds for the park. I would be first in line to buy it. You know, as I watch these videos, it's as though I get to know each and every one of you personally. Even though I've never met you I feel close. And all of the losses I feel as well. I cried when I found out that Jim had passed away. I had just started watching the videos, seen maybe 5 or 6 of them. And then all of the sudden, he wasn't in them anymore. I asked in a comment about him and another subscriber told me. Ahhhh, my heart broke for you. You guys were great together. I think of him with every show that I watch. My prayers are with you. MAY GODS GRACE BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, AND TEAM, AND ALL OF THE MONKEYS, IN EVERY PART OF YOUR LIVES. I did not know Jim...but am so happy u devoted your life to his dream. They r all so very important...your work is so very important. I live in the states but hopefully will b visiting w my daughter within the year.. And again..thanks for your wonderful work

I really enjoy the show, I cannot believe how big Seamus is, he is still a teenager in the show we are watching but you can clearly see he is a full grown adult. I just found your channel, it gives me pleasure and peace. I wish i was younger I worked in Animal rescue for years. It was so rewarding but my health is not great so i watch what you and your team do. I’m sorry for the loss of your husband❤

Adding to the below post, are the specials you are talking about going to be for sale on dvd's in monkey world store? I dont get British tv here in the USA and I would love to be able to buy them lol. Also when is the next series going to be in the gift store - monkey life series 14? Also ask Jeremy if he could write a book on the early life there - year 1 - 2 of the place. I would love to read or watch about it (I am into history about places ie why built, how built, ect. not the old stuff but in the last 40ish years or so) the first dvd talks about starting out for a few min but doesnt really go into much detail. Also tell Jeremy that I love his book. Happy Monkey Day :-)

In the US there are many states which have no laws against having exotic animals,including big cats. It it is disgraceful.
Monkey world is on my bucket list but would love to visit

Why did they stop releasing season 6 of monkey life videos ? I love that show and they stopped?
Theres actually 15 seasons of monkey life, however you're only likely to find the entire thing on TV. There was also a show that ran before monkey life called Monkey business which ran for about 9 seasons until jim's passing if i'm not mistaken.
