Well done! I do like the diminutive size of the Mic Mini, but as a Mic 2 user, I would miss a lot of those features you described--notably the mic jack (since I often use it with a lav mic) and the internal 32 bit float back up recording. When I'm running and gunning at live events, I really like knowing I'll have high quality back up audio inside the Mic 2 should anything go wrong with the audio going to my camera. Thanks again for the timely and instructive video.
Will this work on video calling apps with the Rx plugged into the phone? I have not seen anyone say that on any of the other Mic systems that have a Rx connection to the phone's usb-c port like the Mic 2, Mic mini, Hollyland systems
Hi...Love your channel❤i have a question. I own a Spark and need to find a website to fly my spark.i used DJIs app..but they stopped offering it to Spark owners..its not fair of DJI..they need to bring that app back for free..i should not have to pay a dime to fly my Spark. Please help Billy. Thanks and God Bless. Please reply asap. HAPPY THANKSGIVING MAN
Billy, here from Pilot Institute again…. Quick question, when you use waypoint missions to line up your shots (or just manually flying) what speed do you usually fly the drone at? In editing, I find myself having to speed up or slow down footage a lot. Looking to get more consistent and something that is more smooth. Thank you!
im sry but this video was more of why you shouldn't buy this mic for cheap you literally said everything wrong with this mic then what was good. you spend more time showing the Mic 2 then the mic mini. seem you fav the mic 2 over the mini...
i like the way billy explain the video as i have my youtube channel which is very small channel i could be able to get that because its expensive i wish i could get it
this is great, the best mic mini vid i've seen so far.
Is it possible to connect DJI Mic Mini directly to the Insta360 X4 without using a receiver?
yes you can but the sound is very muffle. not advisable. just to make sure we are on the same track. Just the transmitter > BT > Insta360 X4.
Great deep dive on the capabilities. Thank you Billy
I ordered mine this morning! Can't wait to put it into use.
So as someone who would only be using a mic for car audio i would need the dji mic 2?
Nice review, thanks Billy!

You can access settings through the Mimo app…🤔🤔🤔
except when connected via bluetooth apparently according to Dji, only when Receiver is connected.

Dji have an app overview on their download page for apps working via bluetooth but nothing for using the receiver :/

*Can you use the mic mini with mic 2 receiver?*
Nope
Billy, can you explain the Mic Mini’s use with a DJI Neo, iPhone and DJI Fly app……. And the Neo being flown by the RC2 controller????

It looks great for simple audio capture. And it's very compact and affordable. Great review Billy, and thanks for sharing.
Ahh the dulcet tones of Billy Kyle's voice... Hahaha! Nice review, Lil Bro!

conclusion, safety features and 32bit float, internal recording, 3.5mm jack for lav mic. Get Dji Mic 2 or get Pocket 3 Combo. Thank me later.
Will the mic mini connect to the DJI mic 1 & mic 2 receiver?
First! Please pin :) Also your videos are absolutely awesome. Keep it up!
