    Had to close my Ubank account as I'm putting all my savings in my offset account instead, might put it all back in Ubank if the interest rates drop below 5%

      That’s absolutely the right thing to do if you have a variable home loan in this current market. No savings account is beating that offset saving.

    Keep in mind, if you're a perm resident but don't have a driver's licence or AUSTRALIAN passport, you can't sign up. There's no workaround on their end if you call either. I think they might change this as they're missing out on a lot of customers with such value ID requirements 🤷🏼‍♀️

    I'm a permanent resident with driver licence. After many unsuccessful attempts, they told me that due to commercial requirements I'm unable to open an account with them, that's all, no more explanation than that.

    Hi Bryan, Can you tell me please, is there a way to set up recurring payments in the app. I want to transfer $ from my bills account to another bank (using BSB & ACC #'s), every week, but don't want to have to reember to do it every week 😂

    • @BryanInvest
      @BryanInvest  3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Yes! You can set up auto bank transfer in and out of your Spend account. For example, I created an auto transfer from another bank to transfer $500 into my Ubank spend on the 1st of every month and then back out from Ubank to my other bank. This automatically unlocks the bonus interest. You can set it up for bills too.

    hey i think u got one part wrong in the video, for ubank, the interest is calculated from all accounts combined so this also includes your checking account!

    • @BryanInvest

      Nah, I’ve used Ubank for around 3 years now. They don’t pay interest in the spend ‘checking’ account. It’s only on the save accounts.

    I have to rewatch the video to make sure, but let's say I get an account and my partner too, we could each have 10 saving accounts, have 500$ moving from one to the other each month and get (a combined) 500$ the first of each month? Can someone confirm it works like that or fix it from there? Thanks!

    • @BryanInvest
      @BryanInvest  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s actually a really good question. I’m not 100% sure so I won’t answer that but perhaps you can email Ubank? However, if you have another bank account besides Ubank, you can transfer the $500 in and straight back out then into your partners account and straight back out again and you’ll both qualify. And yes you can both have 10 savings accounts each provided you open the original account separately.

    I was torn between Ubank and Macquarie. I have both, but I use Macquarie. The "no bonus conditions" 5% interest rate (5.5 introductory) plus 2.75% on the transaction account (as opposed to 0.01 or 0% everywhere else) makes it the winner for me.

I contacted them via facebook and they said it's only for Australian Citizen or PR Holder. I am also an international student.
      I had some deposits on the Ubank but after knowing this I immediately withdraw that money to my other bank account.
