These are amazing! Only thing I add is a pinch of salt to the marshmallows. For extra fun, the sprinkles I use are for whatever holiday season we are in. My Granddaughters beg for these when I visit. Thank you for sharing.
I made a these but I used my own measurements! I used the same amount of butter, a whole pack of large marshmallows and about 6 cups of rice crispies! I let them sit in the heat as I mixed them and they came out perfect! I’m an 11 year old who loves to bake and make treats and this was a great treat to make 😁❤️
I have never made or tasted a homemade Rice Krispie Treat. I have eaten the ready made ones from the supermarket. I will never buy them again! OMG....this recipe is amazing! They turned out so delicious! Thank you for sharing Sam!
I just made these and they are amazing. I’m going to sell them at my fundraising event. The first batch I over cooked and over packed but they still turned out good. The second batch was perfect and fluffy. I could still see my second batch of mini marshmallows and my sprinkles didn’t discolor the marshmallows either. Very tasty as well and I used regular salted butter.
You seriously make everything look so delicious and easy to cook. I'm already wanting to make the ziti, stuffed shells, artichoke dip... and I'm not a cooking type person at all. Thanks for getting me excited about cooking Sam!
Omg I just made these and they are incredible. Super easy. I never made rice krispie treats as a kid so this was super exciting. Will never buy from the store again. Thank you 😻
Perfect for Memorial Day and the 4th of July! These look delicious and so moist. Thanks for the tips, the vanilla, I never thought to use and the wax paper, perfect for cleanup and easy removal! I can't wait to make these! Thanks for sharing! God bless!
I've made these a few times and they're super tasty, fluffy, and delicious! A trick I learned as well is to coat your pan entirely in the melted butter (sides and all) so that when you add the rice krispies and marshmallows it won't stick to the sides of the pot!
I just made them with my 8 year old and followed your recipe I watched lots and your recipe was the best and turned out really nice everyone loved it at home ❤️best recipe
They look so great!these are also one of my favorite treats!thanks for sharing 😊everytime i make rice Krispy squares, they always stick to my spatula...so its such a big mess..would you have any suggestions on how to pat the mixture in the pan without them sticking?yours were so neat and clean..thank you Sam
I use a silicone spatula and I never really have a problem with it sticking but maybe I’m just lucky haha. Another option is to run your hands under cold water, shake off the excess water, and then just use your hands to gently pat the Rice Krispies (if they start to stick to your hands, repeat rinsing them). That’s also worked well for me in the past. I hope that helps! :)
About how much Rice Krispie treats will this make like squares because I want to make these for 30 sooo I want to know to be able to make the right amount
This will make about 20 if you cut it into about 2 inch squares. Of course it matters how big you want your Rice Krispies treats to be. I would probably make at least a double batch. These are so good people are going to want more than one. 😉 Enjoy!
Ok thank you I’m in the 8th grade I’m making them for my class they look really good!! I’m going to dip half of them in milk chocolate and top off only the chocolate part with m&m’s and I still will add sprinkles to give the other half color Thanks for the recipe!!!! ♥️♥️
Hi Sam... Just made these treats for the second time this week. I made them last week and everyone loved them...I dipped the tip in white chocolate and they were so good. I am loving ur recipes...I also made ur peanut brittle recipe today...my plan is to share with family and friends.❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you are enjoying everything. Did your peanut brittle turn out as well? That one can be tricky because candy just likes to be difficult.
Could you make this with homemade marshmallows to make it that much extra? Would it be worth the effort or would homemade taste the same with the rice krispies? I am assuming u wouldn’t have to wait for the homemade marshmallows to harden in a trayand can just mix the butter and other ingredients into the marshmallow batter. Thank you
I think homemade marshmallow would work here, and I don’t think you’d have to wait until they harden. Personally I think making homemade marshmallow is a pain. I bet it would taste awesome though! Let me know how it turns out if you try it. 😊😊
Ayo Sam, you're absolutely killin' it, homie. This is litty. Cutting while still warm? Big mood. Big move. You're livin'. I stan so hard. I'm a Sugar Spun Run shill. Will drive traffic. ♥
I really want to make these but I have European butter it’s unsalted. That’s what I use in my cookies. Can I add salt? I have some store brand salted butter. Should I use that?

@@SugarSpunRun Thanks for sharing love you made my day. I'm making these for my grandma birthday party next Saturday.
very tasty
Thank you!
How many days in advance can you make these to have them still taste nice and fresh?
I’d say 2 days in an air tight container for maximum freshness. 😊
They look so good!!!
Thank you so much! 😊
I love the blue pot 💕11-16-21
Thank you 😊
Hello could I make these ahead of time and what do I store them in to keep fresh? please answer gonna make these for daughter birthday.
If you make them ahead of time it is best to just store them at room temperature in an air tight container. They will be good for a few days. :)
Thanks for the quick reply:)

Can I use artificial vanilla extract?
As long as you like the taste that will work just fine. :)
If I put vanilla in it how much and when
I actually show adding the vanilla in the video and tell you how much I'm using. :)
They look fabulous 🤩🤩🦃💩
I hope you love them! :)
I really want to make these but I have European butter it’s unsalted. That’s what I use in my cookies. Can I add salt? I have some store brand salted butter. Should I use that?
You can use the unsalted butter. Add a touch more than 1/4 teaspoon of salt to make up for it. 😊
Sugar Spun Run sweet. Thank you so much for getting back to me so quick 😊
Enjoy! 😊😊
These don’t need to bake correct??
Correct! 😊
Can I plz how to make without using marshmallow
I’m not sure what you would use instead.
vegan marshmallows like the trader joes brand
Been awhile since I used this recipe but called to duty for a kiddie Bday and once again a complete hit first item as always to be gobbled up and as again the parents are all like wow how do you make such amazing soft chew treats and all I say is thanks to sugar spun run!! but gotta keep it between us girls can’t be giving all our secrets away haaa, love to pass them on to the other parents but sorry then mine wouldn’t be the most loved right right lil selfish but hey your my lil secret haaaa

No not me thank you looks good go to make it God blessed you love peace strength to you love it
I’ve never made them before, that’s why I’m here
I hope you like them Ashley! 😊
Where are the sprinkles from ?
I use a different blend of sprinkles. Most of them can be purchased at a store like Walmart. 😊
Dosen't anyone know they are not sprinkles but nonpareils??
There are some nonpareils in here but they aren’t all nonpareils
6 tablespoons of butter was too much for me. Then looked on the box it said 3. My treats came out mushy as hell. Ima try again tomorrow
I hope they turn out better next time. 😊
