Operative word, CAN. What of her revelations have not been consistent or have been born more out of emotions than insight from God, so they are mostly misses. How can you trust in such a situation and not make many wrong decisions? Especially when you’re not picking those same insights from God.

If you understand revelations well, you’ll know that even the most prophetic or spiritual people can be compromised when they’re emotionally involved or if it’s an area they have let their guard down. It’s for everyone. That’s the power of the brotherhood in Christ. What a person misses, God can use someone else, maybe a spouse to call their attention to it. This is the reason why many prophetic brothers marry wrong.
Everyone has the times when they let the flesh lead and when they let the Spirit lead. We let our guard down we take things for granted. Everyone has these moments in the journey of building intimacy with the Lord. That is where godly spouses, mothers and friends come in. When we are low they hold us up and build us up. And as said sometimes you might be building intimacy but God will still choose to speak through your spouse. For me, it is a test of your humility. He can do it directly to you but if humility is something you lack my dear, that will be one of your testing zones in your intimacy journey.

He might be busy sometimes that he hardly has time to pray extensively, and the prayer of the wife can help, and also reposition the husband in the place of prayer. Vice versa though
I believe it is because most men are more grounded with the word of God, and they spend more time studying than praying. While women do more of praying and less of studying God's word. It's more about finding the right balance in the home.
