Well the buffet and lounge at Hyatts are Free (with Hyatt status) so they are much better than the ones in Vegas which almost always charge, unless you get a comp there from gambling. So Hyatt wins in this case! Free food just tastes better!
how does the Grand hyatt tokyo compare to vegas hotels when it comes to free upgrades? are they as generous, or is it a completely different experience?
It’s a completely different experience; Vegas is much more generous but they do hope that their generosity will lead to me gambling and hopefully (for them) losing money. Japan hotels don’t expect anything from me and only give me what I pay for, which is a little surprising and confusing but I like to see how different cultures in the world do different things :)
