Wow, I didn't know they used aluminium in generators. I'm glad that one I just did was copper
Not sure why the windings are plated copper. Real let down when you test those coils.
@@CandSMINING too bad you weren't closer to me. My buddy says gold miners would love this rig the generator was on. Skid mounted 460 Ford industrial ready to bolt onto a pump.

Hey Frank, There is still a lot of steel, aluminum and brass.
I just got a 5,000 watt generator, I’m feeling less confident now it’ll be copper. Such a bummer when it’s aluminum 😢

Dewalt should be ashamed
It's all about the money brother. Use aluminum wire and anodized it copper so you can't tell, and sell it for the copper price.
