Skoda superb is a gem. It offers premium interior and high comfort . But price is unmatched. There are lots of options available. It should be aound 30L
In india there is a huge gap of 4-4.4 mtr 7 seater. Citroen C3 aircross tried but still few lacking in features. Tata, Mahindra should try to this segment.
Problem of our country is that for a market of 3 million passenger vehicles a year, there are much more than economically viable manufacturers in competition And also, there are atleast more than 100 different models / variants available in market which can not sell even a 1,000 cars in a month Out of approx 2 50,000 cars in a month, top 5 companies with 15 models / variants get more than 80% market And to for survival, all the remaining companies must wind up
Citroen being a laggard has nothing to do with features in car.Retd or people above 55 are not that tech savvy. Major problems are- 1.Unknown brand with less network. very few will risk spending lakhs on unknown brand when reputed ones like Ford and GM winded up business. Less network means no one will travel to nearby city for servicing. 2.Same value car available in other foreign brands as well as Suzuki.So why take risk of low resale value..
Citroen brings FIAT policy with them. Underestimate Indian customer. They don't give upgraded or upto date features in their cars. They should open up now.
