Just to put it out there from some comments received on this series, if you haven’t guessed yet, the great detective of baker street in this Lovecraftian world is none other than Professor Moriarty, the narrator is Sebastian Moran, who is the Watson to Moriarty’s Holmes.

Which part do you mean? The narrator is one of the characters so he sees what they see. If you mean the monstrous nature of the blood royal, the queen is a Lovecraftian entity who defeated humanity 700 years before the story takes place. The story is told in a world where Lovecraftian horrors are the elite, who would the great detective of baker street be? Surely not Sherlock Holmes?

He is looking for revenge for the enslavement of mankind and by doing so hopes to free us from the monsters.
