Just looked it up only on E-bat also only from the UK, so will wait til it might pop up in Denmark even i own the regular skinguard this will be good for travel. stay safe cheers...Peter
Great review! Since I recently found out about this, it's my go-to razor. Now I am considering getting the non-disposable skinguard cartridge razor. What do you think though? How do those disposable skinguard razors fare compared to the skinguard cartridge system? Is the extra cost of the replacement cartridges worth the upgrade or should I just stick with the disposable skinguard razors, which happen to be available everywhere here in Greece?
The two razora are accctually very different because of the actuators and moment of pivot being different and also the cartridge head version is much larger which reduces pressure. I like them both, but I do prefer the cartridge system and I actually think it could potentially be my favourite out of all systems. Thing is it works really well on a couple of days growth, compared to say the Hydro5. But the Hydro 5 has anti skin roll bars on each blade that I find are amazing, so if I shave daily I them prefer this as the hair is not as long. Literally I prefer different razors depending on how long between shaves it's been
@@GeekOfShaves If sometime you're in the mood for it, I would love to see a showdown review between these 2! There's no comparison like that out there so you'll be pretty much the only one who does it. Plus, I think it's the only series that Gillette has in both cartridge system and disposable razors so I think it would be quite interesting to see how they fare against each other : )
@thanasiskaramagkiolis4965 tha is foe the suggestion. There are several razors where there is a cartridge and a disposable system, so perhaps that's a whole line of reviews. For example the Mach 3 does this
I like a lot of your comments, but on this one I will have to disagree. I used to only use Mach 3, but I now prefer their Skinguard System razor system as their best. These are one of their better Value to Performance razor offering though. I guess I like the guard I between the blades
@@GeekOfShaves i used the skinguard still cut my around the lip area. its all gimmick by gillette. wilkinsonsword had guards on razors from 30 years ago. you should compare it to sensor excel as its 2 blade razor to the skinguard
For some reason the only place I can find them is at Ross in Broward County Florida. Can’t even find it on Amazon yet.
Great review, thank you. Ill try these
It's definitely worth a try
Hi, the microcomb under blades made of rubber or plastic? Thanks
try gillete skin shave cream in a tube if its stocked in your local asda

Cheers Peter. Ymit was a surprise find, interesting how it is different in differing countries
How did you like your time spent in Romania?
People were lovely, amazing architecture, certainly somewhere I would recommend.
They razor doesn’t seem to get as close enough to the skin for me?
So.. a sensor 3 with the middle blade removed…if those are the sensor 3 blades that will destroy my face…
Only one way to find out
@@GeekOfShaves ..I've still got like.. 200 Sensor excel carts... got a while to go..
Good shave! Interesting product. I’ve never seen this before. 👍
Was a find for me too. I picked up a couple of other new ones
@@GeekOfShaves Fantastic! Hope you had a great time in Romania!
If you find the new BIC easyrinse razor over there, let me know that's on my target list now
@@GeekOfShaves okay 👌

Have you tried the Bic metal razor yet?
I have not to be fair. What do you think of it, is it worth a try
@@GeekOfShaves I have never used one, but I think it is worth a try.
guys just stick to mach3 if you use cartridge everything else by gillette is a gimmick

@hassy g the ws protector was what cut me to shreds and made me a mach 3 only guy. Yeah let's not put my face through that again lol
Man you shave way to long
Use a fusion or pro glide for that face.
You are asking for irritation
Is Gillette skinguard disposable 🪒 worth it?
First
Cheers. Yep got there first
