Great job! Love your videos , as I’ve said before your a braver man than most. Though by you doing these videos it gives confidence to others to go and try things themselves. Well done👍🏻
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures It’s obviously been done with a lot of love - saw your video when you did the decking, it looked a lot different then. I love the idea of the (wine?) boxes on the wall. 💕🐾
Spoiler looks awesome….nice job and well worth the effort👌. They really make a difference, especially on the barn door models as they’re more rounded than tailgates. I fitted mine a few weeks back. Everyone I spoke to (THQ and LV) said no need to drill. Chris at THQ recommended Master Seal Wet on Wet bonding. I was nervous, I’ve got to say….but it’s totally solid and isn’t shifting anywhere.
Hi,those spoilers look good, i wanna fit one to my van (tailgate)but i don't wanna drill holes either,i think I'll do a bit more research on adhesives before I take the plunge.
Don't use the adhesive he used... Sikaflex is good enough to hold tailgate spoiler.. No screws needed.. Tailgate spoilers dont need templates they fit snug in one position
You are considerably braver than thou. Trust me. I spent £300 and had mine fitted by a reputable company - I love doing stuff myself, but just could not start drilling holes in my van. The odd thing is I suspect they just stuck them to the van with an adhesive. And as such yours maybe more secure than mine. Yes I did get them in the same colour as the van, and the matching roof - so they are stealthy in that respect. Keep up the good work, and please promote the work of that vote issue - I would hate any of us to have our vans impounded by a poor piece of legislation.
Hey Colin! On one of your vids a while back you were showing us a power pack that you could plug 240 stuff in? You also mentioned you like smoothies, so I’m wondering would it power a nutri bullet? And your black out curtains for stealth on that extendable pole? Where did you get that from please?! Hope all is great!🙏👌👌
Hi mate, yes it's called a Beaudens Generator, it can take anything up to 150w so if the nutribullet is under that it should work fine.... I use a battery powered blender now for convenience but the beaudens is a good back up! The curtain pole and curtains were all from Amazon bud, just search extendable curtain pole and black out curtains (in the size that you are wanting) :)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thanks so much buddy, that’s great! I’ve never heard of a battery powered blender!! So I’ll have a look at that! I’m going to give up renting in London and go back to Shropshire, but still work in London mon-fri and kip in the van! Everyone thinks I’m mad! I can’t wait 👌👌😂😂
Instead of a window on the rear side panel, try a black vinyl wrap? My T4 is done that way, as wardrobe is behind that panel. It looks like a window. Can send photo if you wish.
I do like the spoiler it adds to the look. Do you take a bike on the rack fitted to the rear doors? I liked the buttons too, wish you showed more of them. Take care 😎
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures - Hey up bud. I did the same as you however didn't want it glossy so left it without the lacquer. I'll send it over.. massive PITA.. but worth it as mine was pretty grotty. Great channel BTW.. As a fellow Yorkshireman I enjoy watching you having a crack at DIY.. Respect :-)

Hey Bob, cheers buddy.... we are going to get a tow bar fitted and the bike rack will go on that as im not a huge fan of the barn door bike racks
Looks fab - now you've got the buffer are you going down the full polish and ceramic coating route?? 👍
Don't tempt me 🤣🤣🤣
If you are Happy with the finished product , that's all that matters .
Field of dreams next trip col ?
Why not white?
I thought about it, but with the bumpers being dark, I thought it complemented the overall look.
Next job.. Front bumper off and paint those grills... nearly killed me doing mine in this heat...
Don't tempt me bud, I was considering it before doing this 🤣🤣🤣
Also, we'll done and massive respect for even attempting it... would be ace to see some pics of your finished bumper
